I appreciate you including Joseph Merrick. I didn't know he had a grave. I find him very inspirational. I also find it ironic that he is a contemporary of Jack the Ripper. One had the appearance of a monster disguising a gentle soul, and one was a monster who probably looked average. Joseph Merrick proved that difficult circumstances do not doom a person by themselves and do not excuse a person for taking their anger out on others.
Strange if they had the money they won’t die and no one would know them . They were was brutally murded but now live for ever . Which would be the worst situation .
Interesting way to put it. Not sure I would want to be murdered to live for ever in history... We do remember them. And some people like me, try to tell their stories but what do we really know about them; not much sadly...
