What brushes and paints would u recommend using, markers if u did use sum would you say it would look nice if the wall is currently just all black as that’s how my bedroom is , also what did you use for circles like the Planets to keep it neat thank you
I use A variety of brush sizes but all Purdy brand. Yes it would work if the wall is already black using the technique I showed. Do your background colors first and stars before doing the planets

Hello the process was about a week long due to it being a full mural all four walls and ceiling. The I use is from sherwin Williams superpaint in the sheen stain. Colors as well are from sherwin Williams. I don’t have a list of the colors I used but in one of my Instagram post I do post a close up video of the colors I use for the galaxy

Thank you. Yes I use interior house paint that can be bought in court, gallons or fives gallon buckets, Not to be mixed up with artist acrylic paint that are in the small tubes.

Thank you!!!!!!!!! 🤗 going to hopefully be buying my paints today ! One question, how much of each paint was used for the wall? Trying to decide if I need a gallon of each color or if I can get away with using the quart sizes. My wall is about the same length , only all the way down to the floor as well.

Chelsea White just make sure they are all stain the same sheen

@@helispaintings3930 yes, I’ve watched those also. They’re so great! I’m just nervous about attempting the ceiling without some guidance. I chose a very dark purple (twilight purple valspar) and painted the ceiling and one wall, then decided that was a mistake. When I saw your ceiling, I thought - that’s the answer! To break up the darkness. But idk where to begin...
@@ambergerbuns ok I looked up the color twilight purple from valspar, so right now you have that painted solid all over the ceiling and one wall. Does your ceiling have a fan? I did a Milky Way galaxy design on the ceiling to best fit the room because of the fan . First thing your going to want to do ,to help you is find a reference photo . This can help you figure out where to lay the colors down . Your going to need at least three more colors to add dimension to the galaxy again looking for references photos of galaxy’s can help with looking for what you like
@@ambergerbuns Work on one wall at a time ceiling are harder my biggest tip is to paint a section then come down off the ladder and check out how it’s going. You will be up there and be thinking “this doesn’t look right “ don’t worries it comes together at the end with the stars
@@helispaintings3930 thanks so much for responding! There is a ceiling fan, which is why I loved your ceiling. The spiral outward just makes sense.

How did you make the asteriod?
I use a airbrush to get Certain effects. When using the airbrush I angle my airbrush horizontal with the wall instead of pointing my airbrush directly at the wall. It’s hard to explain, I can’t always do a video explaining if you like
