Ruins and Reservoirs. Higher and Lower Chelburn. Littleborough

What was supposed to be a look at two of the 'reservoir walk' locations on the hills above Todmorden / Littleborough took a different twist when we found an old burnt out farmhouse at the top reservoir.
The Chelburn Reservoirs are the two oldest reservoirs on the hillside, one being built around 1800. Nearby is an animal sanctuary.

That farm house has bin up for sale for quite some time, would make a nice small holdin.

​@@matparks08Just looked on Andrew Kelly Littleborough web site the house is sold stc, it still shows it but don't tell you the name. It was on the market for over £450,000.

Omg !!! That poor white cottage .. I visited this in covid times and it was in good condition just boarded up and secure.. I wonder when the fire was ?? What a dam shame
