    You can also pull the trigger when safety is on to disengage the hammer without holding it even with full co2 an it won't discharge but it will rotate the round from pulling the trigger.

    I have this gun and my opinion of it is that it's a very good gun, made by the same people who make the real/live ammunition version, it's the same weight and the same materials are used, ite even made in the same factory as the 9 mm live version, its weighted just great, the magazine has never jammed, the action is very realistic with the blowback effect simulating the real thing, the CO2 connection never leaks, and it is very accurate for a replica, I paid about £200 for it, spare magazine, red dot sight, 200 177 flat head slugs and 6 CO2 cartridges, and plastic carry case, money well spent, it has never jammed, or refused to discharge, I've never tried firing BBs with it, so I can't comment on them, it fires at 380FPS which is fairly fast for a hand held CO2 gun. Firing at Coca-Cola cans from 100 feet, it fires straight through both sides,

      Hey man, do you have a link or any info as to where you can get that Red dot you got? and how (with no top rail) it fits? does it just click onto the ironsights or does it go on the underrail and have a bright connector to bring it up top?
      Thank you!

    I just received the new P229 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol from Sig. I must say that I wish I had seen your review first, as the two are very similar. Having previously owned a Tokyo Marui gas blowback airsoft pistol (with aftermarket metal frame/slide kit), I was really disappointed with the functionality - or lack thereof - of these pellet guns. I figured they would be similar, but not even close. Everything on the TM functioned like the real ones from the decocker to the slide stop to the tilting barrel with ejection port cover. I actually thought that I had broken the new one when I tried to decock it, and the lever stuck down. It wasn't until I saw the 'S' for 'Safe' that I realized what it was. That's when I started realizing how little it actually does. Not nearly as good for training on functionality. Plus, personally, the E2 grips on the P229 (as opposed to the older-style grips on the P226) feel too small in my hand. I'd love a TM version of the P229 designed to take 4.5mm BBs with a metal kit. Of course, that would be a lot more expensive.

    From what I've seen online, BBs damage rifled barrels. I'm going to buy that model of gun, and as a precaution I'm not going to shoot those steel balls.

      If ur concerned about damage to a rifled barrel from shooting steel. BB"s use the Dust devil BB"s. MOST bb gun"s love the dust devil BB'S. And they're frangible ammo and they don't damage a rifled barrel. However u will want to clean the barrel at least every 200 rounds of dust devil BB'S keep ur powder dry and ur aim straight. Happy shooting.

      I've ordered one a couple of days ago and I'm strictly gonna use pellets. I've never had or shot a air gun pistol. I do have a .22 caliber Inert Gas Technology rifle. Which is kind of a beast. I use it to hunt squirrels and rabbits but, I got a quick question about this pistol I'm waiting on. I've always heard a good brand of pellets may not travel as fast as BBs but upon impact mushroom out and cause more damage???

      @@robaxl3088 Yeah you can in fact put BB’s in the clip. Although, it just seems like it’s made for pellets. It has good blowback and feels like a real pistol. However, I wish it were a little louder and packed a little more power. Any ideas??

    I actually found out how to make it full auto just not rotate the mag with it but the slide pull the trigger an it just goes full auto but now to find out if I can make the rings the rounds are in spin all the way around in the one pull prolly only work with bbs pellets would probably jam it. And it would only be 8 rounds at a time but that would be cool.

    I have ordered an UID tag with that well-known code and put it on the frame as the real steels have. So now when I point it at people, I avoid showing the right and top side of the pistol because people can tell it is not real (that warning text on the right side of the slide and the duplicating of SigP226 engraving on the right side, and the fake slide cutout for the barrel). So I always approach people from the left. ;-)

    I have the flat dark earth with that same laser an I spray painted the slide port flat black an my suppressor flat black also got the suppressor as mock an made it work on top of a few internal mods were I damped some metal on metal contact points to reduce the sound of the action because that was a lot of the sound .

    P226 is used by British SAS.
    LOVE the assassin's gloves - leave no fingerprints or DNA! I hope you were wearing a trenchcoat and dark glasses when making this vid. 😉
    I DO recommend using a suppressor - especially if you're contracted to terminate a target who's gone into a library!
    Actually, you CAN fit a REAL airgun suppressor if you get an adapter (M12 thread to 1/2" UNF - "GunTuff" make these) - I recommend a Weihrach HW100 1/2" UNF.
    I've had too much experience in stripping the Gamo PT-85. The internal mechanism is the same design, about 90% the same layout. I've heard of people buying cheaper PT-85 magazines and using them in this pistol.

Or something comparable here in the states? I here the Weihrauch are second to none, but they are international and can't /haven't located an outlet stateside to purchase. I'm open to suggestions and much appreciated!

    Such a shame they take so much trouble to make a bang on replica, then use a stick magazine! If you dont mind that kind of thing fair enough but personally I would not buy this solely because of that.

    • @Mrmancan
      @Mrmancan 3 роки тому

      Well the rounds are a lot smaller so to make a mag that would hold them it would end up being a stick mag so there's that.

    • @Mrmancan
      @Mrmancan 3 роки тому

      Not to mention if it was bigger where would the co2 go? In the mag?, which would make more work on loading a new co2 along with new mag of rounds .

    I have another question…can you shoot BBs with this P226 gun? I thought it was pellets only…also want to ask you what your thoughts on the pellets you use for this gun..should they be a certain gram? I have premier Piranha pellets made by Crossman and the weight is 10.5 grams..I use those pellets in my Daisy 10 pump 880 and I also use copperhead Crosman BB’s in my my 880

    • @airgunreplicas77
      @airgunreplicas77  2 роки тому

      You can put bb’s through it (there’s a diagram on the mag) but personally I stick to pellets. I stick to flat head wad cutter pellets as they tend not to jam in the rotary mag. Laser wise I’d say shop around. I’m no expert with that stuff but the pistol isn’t going to be pinpoint accurate so don’t over spend.
