    Nice. Just bought one in Poland. I had shot more than 500 pieces of 4.5 (Diabolo, several types - flat, pointed, round). 4.45 caliber BB - was also tested (you can not use metal BB in a rifeled barrel), but they work as a charm, when CO2 container is almost dry. The quality of a gun, is incredible!! Heavy piece of steel. Blowback is STRONG. Drawbacks: high consumption of CO2, no lock release button (only decocker), lock does not stay in back position, when amunition ends in the mag (dry shots). But the accuracy and power!!. For this price, that is a good one.

      Powiesz cos wiecej o srutach? Co polecasz. Kulki bb zwykle stalowe sie nadają? Do celnego strzelania chyba cos sobie znajde ale nwm co kupic do rozwalania butelek z wiekszej odleglosci. Bb jak zrykoszetuje to masakra no i powyzej 7 metrów roznie sobie radzi. Plaski celny diabolo juz w ogóle nie robi a te typowo do rozwalki to ponoć sa dobre do silnych wiatrowek. Cos polecasz?

    I love how glock makes its own bb guns and how they make them look so real ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ , the only thing is that the slide doesn't move back. The sights and the body structure is so similar to a real handgun, fits in my hand perfectly but I actually ordered it with the 40 pack of Co2 tanks and they never arrived even though it said that they handed It to me. Was not able to test the accuracy since I didn't get everything I purchased which is frustrating and that's the whole reason why I got the bundle so it arrives together. So the Co2 tank happens to be a third party so it makes no sense to put it in the bundle if it doesn't get shipped at the same time, the BB gun arrived first then the Co2 tanks were supposed to arrive someday later but didn't, which doesn't make sense. I recommend just ordering the gun itself so you don't get the same issue I ran into plus there's no option for a refund. How stupid.

    Just a note for those wanting extra mags.. they use the same mags as the Gamo C15. Gamo mags are around £10-£12.. SIGs mags are around £27.. the choice is yours..

      Maybe things have changed in three years, but the C15s are around £12 singly and the SIGs are around £24 for two. So not really any contest, unless you _want_ to run a different branded mag and have difficulties returning if it fails.

    The first one I got was so inaccurate I took it back. The second one was a little better but still did not come close to the sights. The fancy co2 loading mechanism was a problem on both no matter how careful I was or how much I had done it. There are a few videos on how to take some of the slop out of the parts which indicates the gun's quality control issues. I had a 2023 and then a 2024 model.

    For loading a full CO2 capsule, I'd recommend putting the barrel down against a hard surface, holding it tight so it won't move, then closing the lever hard in 1 swift movement. Just holding in your hands and doing it slowly like the video can result in the thing blowing C02 everywhere. I wasted a couple of capsules in this way, never used an air pistol before so didn't know what to expect.

    • @highwayxj9397
      @highwayxj9397 4 роки тому

      @BigDaz,
      That’s a terrible idea. You never press your barrel into a hard surface on any gun or firearm. You’re suppose to put a dab of Co2 oil on the tip of it before loading it

  • @Nigol66

    Received mine yesterday. It's super heavy...feels like the 'real' thing! Much heavier than my Glock 19. Love the clip...and the fact this will fire BB's and Pellets. Loading the CO2 was a little tricky for me at first. I lost a couple of cartridges..... nothing dangerous.... I put the cartridge in and didn't push up on the closing door quick enough and lost the air. Takes a little practice. By the way.... Walmart is the cheapest for CO2.... 40 for $15! (12g) Love this gun!

Also for info, if you want the official sig holster for this then don't buy their p226 model. It won't fit as this is the mk25 model. Nuprol F series 226 will however fit.

    From the delay heard between the shot fired and the pellet hitting the target at the end of the video, I doubt very very much that this airgun is capable of 510 FPS as advertised on the packaging. Especially from a blowback action airgun pistol. Sounds a lot more like 300 FPS, perhaps even less... But nice plinker for sure. Thanks for sharing. I'm awaiting delivery of my new M17 from Sig Sauer in the coming days. Sig says it's capable of 430 FPS but I doubt it, since it's a blowback action pellet gun too. I'll be happy with 350-400 FPS.

      @@LeGatoDarko Well, i bored up the valve 1mm for more volume, and i put a softer valve spring on it, so it open more quickly. But it waste a lot of co2, and the accuracy gets bad.
      I also tighten the hammer spring, for faster opening of the valve.
      It is very fun to shoot now, the recoil get the pellets to fall out of the magazine.

    Hi, I just bought this pistol. I love it. One slight problem I've encountered however is I'm using .177 RWS Superdome pellets, and I'm having some 'misfires,' pellets not holding firmly in the magazine (which is the one's made for this gun). I'm wondering whether I just need to 'switch' to the "wadcutter" type pellets? Other than that, no problems, and I do love this. I own several airguns, and this is by far my favorite. Also, is this true about being able to 'shot BB's as well?' I only ask because it doesn't mention this anywhere on my packaging (I'm in the States, maybe other countries state can use BB's)? But, mainly the issue is the pellets. Like I said, this gun just doesn't seem to like the aforementioned pellets, so do you advise using "wadcutter?" Thank you. Great video.

    • @lukehealy5226
      @lukehealy5226 6 років тому

      gun is not fit for purpose my theory is .it is a bb gun essentially.but sig sauer have put a rifled barrel on it so now no use for bbs.as they destroy rifiling .they will only fire flat head .177 pellets all the other pellets jam.which is 90% of pellets on the market.thats why I think it is a bb gun sold as an air pellet gun by sig.not designed for pellets really.

      GamersEatBacon the legal limit for a pistol is 6 tho so that’s the most you’re going to get. Then with CO2 you’ve got the power vs gas conservation issue too. If the power was doubled you’d be changing cartridge every 25 shots. Like most air pistols it’s only ever going to be for plinking.

    Am I the only one having trouble with Diabolo Rounds (like the JSB Exact 4,52mm rounds) not staying in place in the magazine, and falls out of the slot if you just tap very gently on the magazine itself? Is it supposed to be like this? Am I supposed to be EXTREMELY careful and hold everything in an upright position as soon as I have diabolos loaded into the magazine. The Exact 4,52mm is a bit on the larger side as well, compared to other 4,50 mm diabolos?
    Is this a fault from the manufacturer?
    Has anyone else experienced this?
    My friends has the exact same gun, and he has the same problem. Diabolos keep falling out of the magazine at the slightest touch, or they jam up the gun because they fall out inside the gun.
    I have sent a long email to Sig Sauer explaining my problem, and even included a video where I demonstrated it. But they have yet to respond.
    I know that the magazine has a magnet, so 4,5 mm steel BBs stick in there just fine, but the diabolos get no help from that, since they are made of lead.
    Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

    Ended up buying the M17, mostly cause it looks neat and cause it's the tan coloring. If I were able to find THIS model in the color he has her, if have bought this one for sure. All they have anywhere online or in stores, is the black version.
    But yeah the M17 is cool and all, but super weak. Pellets basically bounce back, an it does jam allot. Luckily haven't had any of the leaking issues yet, an aside having an extra mag. I've seen a few quick fixes on fixing the magazines leaking issues.
    But wondering if they've discontinued the coyote tan model if this air gun. This airgun shoots like 100 fps stronger, the M17 barely shoots at 400 if you're lucky.

      +jason cawthorne Get yourself some lead free alloy pellets, they're fairly light and should do the trick. The H&N Field Target Trophy Green come in at 5.56gr and will likely shoot POA (will be certain after I test them).
      Bear in mind that this is more than likely a 3 ft-lb gun (510fps with the lightest pellet Sig could find!), so any of the heavy stuff will shoot low. Mine groups OK with Weihrauch F&Ts, but still needs a fair bit of hold over. I'm currently waiting on samples of FTT Green and Barracuda Green. Will see which ones shoot right and at what range.
      Have a look on Sig's website, they have their own range of pellets (not in the UK yet I think) and they recommend the lighter ones for this gun. Since H&N are Sig's pellet OEM, I have the strong suspicion that Sig's Crux lead free pellets are identical to the FTT Greens (but with Sig's price tag). Look up "multi choice air gun pellets sample" on ebay, a fella' sells packs of 20 for a quid-fifty each (so naturally I had to buy four of both :P).
      If they don't group well in your gun, you might have to shell out for some Sig ones or just live with the hold over.
      Also bear in mind that as temperatures rise, so should your muzzle velocity, so don't be surprised if you find yourself going back to a heavier pellet in July

      +Ian Mangham I'd really rather not mess up the factory sights, my first port of call is finding a pellet it likes (them Weihrauchs for example now shoot just about in the right place, it took about 400 of them to lead in the barrel though). If that don't work, I'll remove the factory sights, measure them and make some adjustable ones to go on it instead. While I'm at it, might as well elevate them - ready to accept a suppressor, and stick tritium vials in 'em... because I can. That last part is probably the most expensive bit, but I think there will still be someone who will want to buy them

Again though, if you're indoors - you'll definitely notice the improvement.

      The silencer is used to mute the noise of the compressed gas, which propels the missile. In the case of an air rifle, shot changes to a whisper. You can only hear the moving mechanical parts. In my opinion, a silencer is just a fun toy and improves the appearance of the pneumatic pistol. The silencer only makes sense, and difference with pneumatic rifles (they can be very LOUD).

      @233kosta 8 років тому

      Ben Goldsmith The second I saw the price on this gun I had the funny feeling that there'll be a catch with a much higher price tag. The one thing Sig are known for is NOT being very affordable.
      What you can do however is inquire at your local gun shop if they have any contacts with the facilities to make an adapter from the thread the gun comes with (which is an ISO standard thread I believe) to a 1/2UNF.
      Don't even bother trying on a 1/2UNF suppressor directly, at best it'll put "idiot marks" on your thread (like the ones you can see in the video), at worst - it'll strip it completely.
      I think Sig want to generate enough of a following for the gun so that when the suppressors come out they'll be an instant hit, but I think it'll bite them instead and people will just get adapters and use their fav 1/2UNF ones instead.

    Steel BB`s from a rifled Barrel,... Please do an acurracy test with diablos, shoot an assload of bb`s and then do the accuracy test again with the same tin of pellets. You might find, that the hard BB steel has shredded the rifling. If you want to shoot BB`s, buy a smoothbore, if you want to be preciser, don`t and also don`t shoot bb`s. Screwing up your pistol wont save you money.

    Once again I watch a video of an olive green gun thinking 'I want that' when it turns into tan (FDE) in the sun at the end! Perhaps my colour balance but I usually find it's accurate, it has to be as I deal in art. And, why problems with accuracy? It has a rifled barrel. My CP99 and 88 are pretty good shooters and I tend to hit what I'm aiming at. Also-a full metal made in Japan, so there are ways of getting round the Japanese legislation, so TM and Maruzen etc could supply metal slides to overseas markets. We have yet to see a company producing high quality rifs that fully satisfy (that satisfy ME anyway) I have a plastic PPK, highly regarded but It's a lightweight toy (subject to unfathomable UK legislation) My Umarex PPK is hopelessly inaccurate (the design, not shooting though that is of course pretty damn poor)
    So, we do not have anybody worldwide making stuff to the specs we require. One hell of a chance for one of us to make a mark. I reckon I could turn say, Umarex since they're close, into the market leaders. "Now introducing the German Gold Cup line" Phase in a quality range. Who's game? Christ I miss full bore.
