To all those asking what to feed them, the best thing is high protein cat food soaked in water so it's soft, or dog food if you don't have bird formula, I think oats/oatmeal lightly cooked is okay, rice is okay too.. basically anything high in protein, maybe some calcium if you can get it too. @@mriduldasdipto827You can also give other foods like cooked rice, boiled eggs, oats, or wet some dry cat food mash it up real soft!. I mix oats, cat food & eggs into a paste for my babies. Never give them worms, water, insects or bird seed. They can't digest those things yet. A mama bird would digest it and feed it back to them.

Aww man I am so dumb when I was a kid I saved multiple baby birds and got one to live. It became an adult and flew the issue was I didnt know to ween it onto real food young and couldnt figure out how to switch it from baby bird feed and it died after fully grown. I cried. I tried. I did save a finch I found a place near Detroit that raised birds bit shes usually full by April or may at the latest. Last one I had to leave. She was full and the heartache was killing me everytime.
They are not suppose to drink water they will eat corn on the cob oranges ... if it's a small baby you need to go to pet store and buy the baby bird formula
Boil egg mix with oak meal blends it well. I also used can food for cat mix with them. Some chopped green vegetables and thin sliced of apple! It loved it so much!
If anyone can answer my question I would appreciate it(so I found a baby one and then I left it for 4h and no one bird came near it or interacted with it so I brought it home the one I found was a little younger than this one and when I tried to feed it it didn’t do anything or drink anything it just sleeps and I am worried).
