Emory Cohen and DaneDehaan are the great revelations of the movie! They´re too persuasive in their performance and the characters are so deep and passionate!!!
That movie has something very unique. Emory Cohen and the whole cast do a really intense performance. Still waiting for the next masterpiece of Cianfrance. peace
These interviews are always soooo damn awkward. The interviewer tries to be the actor's friend at some point despite not knowing him at all and pal around and then everything gets lost in translation.
He and Ben Mendelssohn really nail down specific types of characters that certainly exist(ed) in the rural Northeast U.S. Many kids would pick up on current hip hop slang/attitude to the point where it became their entire personality- I too went to school and played sports with a bunch of people like that. I have a feeling it was more of a 90s phenomenon, but it still translates really well in this film.
the contrast from the character AJ he played in the film to who he is in real life shows that this kid is pretty talented and knows how to catch the rhythm of the person he's playing. well done.
I just saw this movie and thought this guy was so cute! I had to know if he actually spoke like that. It's almost like he's like slow or something, only not.
liliYOmama2 I found him attractive also and had to look him up. He seems different from the character he plays in the movie. His character attracted me more.
Yea I saw that this movie last night, and it was absolutely outstanding and his performance was compelling, I don't think he got the credit he deserves for bringing life to A.J
He looks EXACTLY like a young Johnny Depp! I found it distracting during the film the resemblance was so uncanny. The kid who played Jason looked exactly like a young Leo Dicaprio too. Weird! It was like watching what's eating Gilbert grape haha
Dude, they are additionally far less talented. And attractiveness is not only based on looks, but looking up to someone, creating a character the audience want to emulate; which bonds the audience to the film on a different level. Additionally the comparison that my comment was basing the statement on could only have been assumed from the similarity in the looks of the four actors. additionally your sexism is pretty laughable since I'm actually a guy mate HAHAHAHA!
This dude killed it in the role. He was incredible.
he's in OA on Netflix. now I have to go back and watch everything he's in. I'm in love
Me too 😍😍😍
He looks completely now. Weird
I'm crushing on 🙈
Such an underrated actor. Emory is amazing.
That guy nailed the character. My whole life I've known people like aj.
Emory and Dane have to work together again! They are both so talented.
This young man reminds me of a young Marlon Brando. He was amazing in this movie. I hope we see much more of him soon.
Exactly what I was going to say
ahhhh, i love his voice

His performance in the movie is amazing
He reminds me of a young Marlon Brando. Loved him in the movie Brooklyn.

Kid must be a great actor, cause he came off like the biggest douchebag ever in that movie.
After watching some of his interviews it doesn't seem like he had to do much acting to come off as a big douche bag.
Wow. What a difference. He did a great job with the accent. Good up and comer.
Yea I saw that this movie last night, and it was absolutely outstanding and his performance was compelling, I don't think he got the credit he deserves for bringing life to A.J
Great acting!!
He’s gorgeous
He’s brilliant!! He sounds so young here haha!
I like his mentality.. was a good performance from him.
his acting was good in the movie, he is talented
Some stupid questions by this guy. kid not given enough credit for his performance. Outstanding movie
Has he a facebook or twitter profile or has he a channel here on youtube?
He looks exactly like my boyfriend that died. R.i.p Tyler
He is so different to his character
He was amazing in the film! I suspect he's going to be catapulted to major stardom soon.
He's amazing but been quiet for a while ...where is he ????
Deer Heart whatch the movie “Brooklyn” are you kiddin me?
You should be proud!
Some pictures of Emory I can't even tell him apart from Johnny
His voice is still similar to AJ in the movie 😂😂
He looks EXACTLY like a young Johnny Depp! I found it distracting during the film the resemblance was so uncanny. The kid who played Jason looked exactly like a young Leo Dicaprio too. Weird! It was like watching what's eating Gilbert grape haha
good movie stole it for me i know this kid everyone does
You know where Troy is? Where’s Troy at?
right next door
The role Emory played in this movie would totally beat up the interviewer in real life.. ugh
He and Dane are young Tom Hardy and young Leonardo DiCaprio.
I feel like he stole the show
Thats exactly what i thought during the movie - Johnny Depp&Leo Dicaprio! Apparently theres some truth :)
He was such a jerk in the movie lol.

he imitates brando so much... it was distracting.
The slurring speech, the silly look on his face... is this an impression of Z from Police Academy?
except far less attractive..
