You are right. I'm from Dublin. Iwason the beach today in louth, Dublin accents. Louth accents. Meath accents. Alas it is disappearing because of the influence of TV.
I adore the movie, "Brooklyn". Saoirse Ronan and Emory Cohen were enthralling ! I love this interview and Emory Cohen has an adorable way about him. Domhnall Gleeson was perfect in his role. I just realized that Saoirse Ronan was the actress in Lovely Bones ! She has so much talent, as all three of them do.
@@antoniosilvestro2494 I'm 77 and obviously have watched many movies. Soairse Ronan is the best actress that I've ever seen, and I can't really describe why. She can speak volumes without speaking. Brilliant film indeed!
Saoirse makes the claim that the female was demure and male was the aggressor in the early 1950s, but curiously, I noticed Saoirse's Ellis character seemed to be the aggressive one in the relationship with Tony. She is the first one to push off Tony's coat and start undressing him in her room after they get engaged, and she goes in for a kiss when they're at the Coney Island beach. Growing up in the 1950s her aggressive moves seemed to stand out to me. Regardless, I absolutely loved the movie and hope they do a sequel so I can find out what becomes of Tony and his brothers starting a "building company" and whether Ellis will be their accountant. Will Ellis' mother come to America to join them? What happens to Jim Ferrell? There are so many characters in this movie I really care about (great acting) and the one of "Nettles" Kelly I didn't like (great acting), they all made me want to know more about what happens to them.
I wonder if Eilis became as devoted a Brooklyn Dodger fan as Tony was? And, how did Tony and Eilis react when the Dodgers moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles in 1957? When Eilis and Tony had children, if the first child was a girl, I’ll bet they named her Rose in honor of Eilis’ beloved, late sister, Rose. No doubt, Father Flood would baptize Eilis and Tony’s children and Mrs. Kehoe and one of Tony’s brothers would be the honored god-parents of the first Fiorello/Lacey child. And, yes, I too, would love to see a “Brooklyn, Part Two.”
I could listen to her voice all day.
me too :))

Emory Cohen has such a genuine personality and I bet he must be great to work with

Very talented actor
Tonyyyy :D
She's great!!
Love this movie ❤❤
Yeah, but if Mr. Kazan was so concerned about his crew, why did he rat on them at HUAC for Joseph McCarthy?
Me everytime emory cohen talks : 💦
فلم جميل
the interviewer needs to slow down a little.
We all talk fast in ireland. Just so you forget what we said. I do like the confusion on people's faces.
@@declanfitzpatrick6747 There's nothing wrong with Saoirse. It's the interviewer that sounds like he just drank 10 espressos.
