WHAT IS HAPPENING? Hey all, I'm currently working on my next video and also moving house. While waiting for my next video, I've created a new Instagram account for my fans to post completed dioramas you've created (Conditions apply). You can check out the latest activity via: instagram.com/bouldercreekrailroad/ See you soon. Cheers, Luke
Since the Heki 1370 dried tree foliage packs seem to be no longer available anywhere, did you have a similar alternative? Otherwise, it's a sea of confusing foliage products that often need to be imported to see if suitable or not.
I don´t understand why some Guys dislike such an amazing video. These are the Moments when I realise that Hating is for someone like a Hobby. I love your Videos and appreciate the little Animation. Sry for the really bad English. Greetings from Germany
Great video !! I was born in Torrance in 1954 ! I remember Those trees on the blvd. Sat under them and watched parades. Later in Ventura, we had tree houses in the Tops of those eucalyptus trees !
I don't know yet how am I ever going to use all these knowledge (maybe never) but it's so satisfying to watch such perfectly done piece of art. I feel motivated.
Hey , Luke , nice as always mate , keep watchin this one , when I get Lost on my layout , I think Luke !!! And go thru your vids, thanks mate for all 10/10 for Aussie modellers
I had always wondered how to shape the Woodland Scenics Armatures and your tutorial answered these questions. The tree looks great and I like the special effects you added to the tutorial. Thanks for sharing this information.
lol... I don't want you passing out on me! I'm glad you're still enjoying the tutorials. I've got a few exciting videos coming up in the next couple of months.
Thanks Rick, I'm glad you enjoyed watching. I actually just re-watched your switching the salvage yard video, love the scenery work especially the road in the background that leads up the hill.
Superb work as usual sir!!!! I have always seen these trees as un useable due to their plastic toy like features but you have convinced me 100% that they can be made to look outstanding. Without your tutorial I would never have known. Thanks!!
Luke, love the special effects you did in the video. Your tutorials are awesome and I really can't wait for your next one. Take care and keep on posting videos because you are number 1 on UA-cam!!!
You have the most relaxing videos on UA-cam. I just zone out and go into a happy place as I watch you create all sorts of miniatures. Great work--I've been watching for probably a year now--and I hope you keep going with your videos for a good, long time!
Luke...absolutely awesome! as always your tutorials are so detailed and explained so well. you have a true gift my friend! Keep up the great work my friend!
Fantastic tutorial. Great to see you 'branch' out and focus on Eucalypts especially. I've been wanting to build a few Eucalypts for one of our boards, but wasn't sure how to go about it. This couldn't have come at a better time! Awesome work as always.
Nicely done Luke! For some really nice trees you can also use sagebrush and clip the branches to take the shape of a tree then glue the armatures onto that. I’ve had some amazing results using that method and as far of the tree trunks/branches themselves, I have yet to see that method topped for realism! I just posted about them in my latest video as well over on my channel actually if you’re at all interested. Love your channel, it as been a huge inspiration both in your builds and video style! Thanks Luke for all that you do!!
Awesome trees Luke! And my vote is to definitely keep the magical post production shezaaaaz! I wasn't at all distracted from anything, just amazed a bit more. Them's my two cents anyway. Looking forward to the next one as well. Cheers, Dan
The trees look amazing. Very realistic. Great job. I would have liked to see the tree from different angles, and with slow close up... but still a great video... 👍

so true! That's exactly how I used to make my trees in the beginning. Little did I know back then how versatile the armatures were
