The best track on an absolutely classic album. I'll never understand how Oasis and Blur got so much attention when there were so many better bands around with Shed Seven being the best of the lot.
Absolutely quality song! Brings back so many memories of having NO worries in my youth! How things change aye? This has put a spring in my step for the day.....great band and album!!! Cheers for posting.
Tomorrow is my 40th Birthday, and I have spent half the day on youtube searching / listening to all my "old" favourite songs from days gone by ... I saw Shed Seven at The Forum, London in November 1996 (still got the ticket stub!), and this song has been the best I have come across during the day (sorry Stone Roses!), even remembered mostly all of the lyrics after all these years too :) Was great to have this song as my finishing song today, so thank you Shed Seven for making my day !
I saw them on Tuesday at the Hertfordshire Forum and they just blew me away. A full on rock band with a brass section, fantastic. They're almost like a top secret band, everyone who's seen them knows how good they are but you don't hear them on the radio. That's reserved for one direction.
+Steve Hill lucky enough to be there too, always loved them but first time seeing them.knocked me bandy.still playing with the same enthusiasm as a new band. hugely underestimated british band,
I love music and appreciate talent but sadly, I have watched music manufacturing dominate for far too long. Stock, Aitken and Waterman were legend but did not drown out talent all round. I was born in the 70s and brought up listening to bands where people sang and played instruments. Very few artists can do that now!
Paul Banks is the best gutairist of his generation, one of the most underrrated players of all time, right alongside Nik Ronson, another gutarist nevr to gain the credit he so richly deserved..!
If you've got 8 minutes and 47 seconds to spare, then you could do a lot worse than spending that time listening to this spellbinding tale of debauchery by Shed Seven. Half way through when you get the change from ballad to rock when performed live is a moment of sheer brilliance that this YouTubular video doesn't really do justice to but hey ho...
What a great time for Real fucking music ..what the fuck happened along the way ...So sad for the youth of today an there x factor an 2 bob recycled rap shit ... :(
I definately don't rate Oasis, Noel is ok taken out on his own, but Liam is just a droning f**k that needs putting down. Shed 7 were twice the band they'll ever be...
Fond memories...This is a juggernaut of a tune, and it's stood the test of time for sure

I just made the same comment on another video. X
