We took this CD to Ibiza in 96 and it was the best holiday of my life. Quality memories! Not just for the CD but the 1st holiday without my parents with my mates and having some top times!!!
um I felt like a outcast listening to this in 1996 in the US while others were still on recycled grunge or crap nu-metal hip hop...feels good to know I was right

I love the fact they would come on stage to Poison by the Prodigy. seen them in Cardiff in a club the size of a phonebox a few years back. We were chanting Blue army Blue army! Their faces were a picture. Great, great band.
I love them as much now as i did then! was 16 when this was released, going to see them in manchester in december 09, can't bloody wait! Saw them in leicester a couple of years ago and nearly cried it was that good.
i have no idea why these r so under rated they really do hav sum classic tunes. i love em, but for sum reason i didnt properly hear of them til after a the 'britpop' thing. maybe im too young im only 22
The Bluetones are still going strong and tour the UK at least twice a year!!! They are touring at the moment do a search...support them ..they are the best band to see live!

Yep mate colorado beetle along with likes of teenage jesus, castle rock, dont stand me down etc. Those collection of b-sides are better than most of the stuff polluting the charts at the moment. The Bluetones were vastly underated yet so important to British music.
There it is 2:31. I always wondered why the audio dipped on the album at that point. The sound engineer fucked up there. I was always re-adjusting the volume.
@laurenmcintyre - Still are, I think you'll find, they still put on a damn good live set, and Science & Nature is an excellent album (though that's kinda old now too). :D

So I discovered this band through Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.....and I must say....I fucking love this band and yes......I thank Scott Pilgrim for that. For those who dont know about Scott Pilgrim...I highly recommened reading the comic books and watching the movie cause its FRIGGIN EPIC!!

I know LOADS of awesome and talented bands out there at the moment (flipron, 12 stone toddler, kaizer's orchestra, to name a few), and the amount of good (in some respects) that the digital revolution has had. But you can;t deny that there is a vast and overwhelming wave of utter bollocks being pumped out all the time, and that there was a lot less of it (or at least the general public didn't think it was good) in the 90's.
Most of the singles you'll find here are on "Expecting To Fly" their 1st and best. I really enjoyed their 2nd, "Return to the Last Chance Saloon", though it probably takes a bit more getting into, some heavier/complex stuff there. They did 2 more, neither of them did much for me TBH.
