I got to meet Liberace in 1982 at the Country Club he was a member of in Palm Springs, I was there to do repair work on the Club's photo copier. I got a personalized autograph, that I still have and is one of my prize possessions. I was never really a fan of piano music, but as a human being Lee Liberace was a decent, kind and amazing man.
Despite his incredible showmanship and staging the inescapable fact is that he was also a truly powerful and gifted pianist...it was not just all hype...HE COULD REALLY PLAY
I love hearing his piano music..played so powerfully and beautifully..thank you for posting this..and to Liberace for your timeless inspiration and huge talent. RIP!
Une magnifique découverte, capable de mélanger les genres avec un talent inégalable, il a eu le courage de s'affirmer dans une Amérique pudibonde au milieu du siècle dernier, un pianiste extraordinaire, merci
The fact that someone was able to get that rich and famous from being a classical pianist is mind blowing to me. You sure as hell couldn't do that today.
He was a child prodigy and could have and should have been a great classical pianist but he chose to be a entertainer instead. As a child in the 1950s I never missed one of his shows on a Sunday evening.❤🎉

I love watching him play classical music and considering how much time it took master that particular piece .
He didn’t play the piano, he was the piano. The passion!!!!!
My father, a classical pianist, played this a lot when I was growing up. A stirring piece, and Liberace's version is outstanding.
Perfection. Listened to this as a kid 35 years ago or so, still love it today! My favorite piano performance of all time.
The greatest pianist that ever lived.
I’m speechless except for one word. BRILLIANT!!!
Liberace has passed away, but his music hasn’t. It remains outstanding in the music hall of fame!
So talented, charismatic, and handsome.
There are no words to describe this genius......sublime!!!!!!
