Hi Gena! Thank you for sharing your collection with us. Not only is your collection fabulous but the way you display your plants is absolutely beautiful 😍
Hi pretty lady, hope you are having a wonderful morning. Thank you for showing your forgotten plants. Great video as always. Your home is filled with so much beauty. Have a great weekend ❤
Lol, had a giggle about your "guilt trip" about the forgotten plants. I'm in awe that, having so many, they all look so happy. You really have a passion for plants. Thank you for sharing them.
Very enjoyable video, many thanks! You have many beautiful plants so it’s understandable that a few would be missed here and there. I loved your story about the last cactus you showed and how you got him at an estate sale primarily for the pot. It was both funny and poignant. I wonder about the owner and how at one time he must have been a much loved plant. He looks so happy in your home all spruced up and beginning his second chance at a good life. He looks great where you have.placed him, as if he was meant to be there all along. Great job! 👌🪴🥰
Thank you Peggy!!!! This estate sale had so many more cactus. All pretty much neglected, but still with life left in them. I wanted to take so many more, but I just couldn't. I was happy to at least save this one and get a really cool pot out of it too :).
Hi Gena! I was so happy to see your post this morning :)....and nice to see the mother Var Kerrii! I just love your collection so so much and with your big tour I should of wrote down all my favorites.....I was happy to see your pink siam! I have 2 of them, and your lady valentine! I collect agalonemas.....I think the bug bit you!...yes I think my # of houseplants is up around your #....if I ever do a new full count I will let you know! I just put up 2 new shelves! Thought of you! All your philos looked so nice too....and your hope, so many more....I should of took notes! Love your forgotten ones too....thanks for brightening up my day as always....♡tina
Hi, Tina!!! I figured your houseplant collection was up there...I'm thinking you might even have more than me. I do love the aglaonema a lot. There are so many beautiful ones out there!!!! Thanks for brightening my day too!!!! You are a ray of sunshine :). Much love!!!!
Lieve Gena wederom prachtig weer ❤ Ik heb ook heel veel planten maar ze groeien niet zo goed. Jou huis is ook zo knus en schattig. Jij bent ook heel lief 😊😘 Groetjes uit Nederland
Hi Gena! Enjoyed seeing your forgotten plants. I only have one hoya (Crimson princess, I believe) but it is struggling. It came from Texas with me in December and net died! Fingers crossed 🤞it will make it!
Hi Cherie!!!! I don’t currently have a princess. That was my very first Hoya many years ago, they are beautiful! I hope yours survives 🤞. I saw some very pretty ones at Lowe’s a couple of weeks ago and was very tempted to get one but they were pretty big and I’d rather start with a small one. Hope your having a nice weekend!!!! We’ve been working a lot outside today. Doing yard work and stuff. Such a beautiful day 😊.
@@ThePinkTrellis Thanks, Gena! Where is your shop located? My three sisters are coming up from Texas the latter part of June for a dog show in Loveland. We'll be there a couple of days so would lov e to see all your pretty things and meet you in person!!
@@cherieholmquist7259 I actually don’t have a store front, it’s just all out of my home. I wish I did because that would be awesome to meet you. I’m way north of you though about an hour north of Denver. Just saw you’ll be in Loveland! That’s real close to me.
A lot of people have trouble with Nanook. And tradanacanthis in general. just continue to renue my plants bu taking cuttings and I do not let any of them trail down much. try to keep them trimmed.
I enjoy your videos, I am very new to this but I love it. Could you show us how to use the little trellises that you have in a lot of your pots with certain plants. Which plants need a trellis ? Where can we get those small trellises. Could you talk a bit more about climbing plants. Ann from Ottawa
Hi, Ann! I will try to remember to incorporate those things into a video! For now though you can get the trellises on Amazon. I’ll get the link for you 😊. Thanks!!!!
Love all your plants. What part of the country do you live in? I'm in So. Ca. & have very low humidity so I can do many cactus, succulents, and many Hoyas, but some of the plants you have just don't do well here. What is your house humidity?
Thanks! I’m in northern Colorado and it is extremely dry here. I used to live in Southern California and the humidity there is so much better. We do have a whole house humidifier and we keep that running at 35%, which is low, but comfortable, and better than it would be without it (talking teens!). None of my plants seem to be suffering.
@@ThePinkTrellis I feel the same but after trying for over a year to get it looking good I gave up. If I try one again it will be the green and white one you showed. That's a beauty!
Muy hermosa su colección, me puedes decír por favor que sustrato usa y como y con qué fertilizas? Tengo una pocas plantas, soy novato en esto y las mias no estan tan bonitas, tengo miedo que mueran😢
Thank you! Most of my houseplants are in soil. The fertilizer I like to use is by a company named Fox Farm and I love their fertilizer called Grow Big. Hope this helps. Thank you again!!!!

Hi Sherry!!!! Thank you so much!!!! It is a fun part for me, working the plants into my home decor 😊.
So sweet to feature your forgotten plants! I like that you show us where you have placed them. Always enjoy seeing your beautiful decor too!
Thanks, Cheryl. I couldn’t believe I missed so many!!!! 😂

Thanks Cindy ☺️
Okay , so now I need a fairy castle cactus. I’ve never seen that species before. Thanks for finishing the tour Gena.
Look at the variegated version too! They are both amazing 😊.

Is UA-cam giving you trouble again????
Yes still finishing your video but making sure my comment sticks.....your big tour I was erased!

Yeah, they really are tricky plants. I’ll try to do the same as you. I just really like the way the look trailing. Thanks for the tips!
@@ThePinkTrellis I do let mine hangdown a foot or so but no more. I just gave my mother plant a chop the other day and it does so much better for it.

Great video, Gena! It's not you, I finally binned my Nanouk. They always have browning, I got tired of restarting them to try to make it look decent!
Thanks, Molly!!!! It’s such a shame because it’s such a gorgeous plant!!!! I may eventually end up having to do the same.
