    I am refreshing my Algebra memory after 12 years for an exam next week. I feel like I have gone back to school while watching your video or even better.     well, you can not always find the inverse directly as the algebra can get complicated (assuming an inverse exists)... you can find the derivative of the inverse at a point sometimes though...

    I love the four steps at the beginning. I hate how my teachers never explained that f(x) and y are literally the same thing. It took me about two weeks to figure that out.

    Thank you. I am in PreCal now and it's been years since College Algebra (I changed my major to a math heavy major [Astronomy]). I had a problem on my homework just like your second example, except mine had F(x) = (4-3x)/(5x-4) and your step-by-step got me right through it to the point where I understand the purpose.

    This is a great explanation. My language of college algebra book is way too convoluted and my professor is too brief with his explanations, so this is a nice tool to bridge the two. Thanks.
