I am writing all this on a bookmark for my copy of a new book "Mathematical Notation, a Guide for Engineers and Scientists" by Edward R. Scheinerman. Only 84 pages and it is not enough, pity.
I think he misspoke. x is a great letter to use because x is in the domain of f. and w is a subset of the domain, so putting x in w is good. y would be a good letter to use for anything in the range of f. So we still are thinking of f(x) as equal to y, or f(W) as being in the range of f.
Thank you for the clear explaination. Helped me a lot!
Cheers.
Calling f-inverse a subset of A, i.e. of the Domain is nice. Very helpful!
It is very helpful indeed. Thank you very much.
Man, you're awesome. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Do you have a series for set theory?
function and cardinality
I have an exam
please answer

Thank you sir. Where can i get practice questions related to this topic?
any discrete math textbook, in the section on functions, maybe I will make some videos on this soon
Real analysis books can also feature this
شكرا جزيلا❤❤
This is beautiful sir.
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a difference between inverse image and inverse function?
ya the inverse image of a set under a function is a set, whereas the inverse function is an actual function
Thank you so much
Sir please tell me what is the inverse image of ( phi ) under the F
Helpful
Explain image of a subset of domain under function
Yes I should thank you!
great example
thanks
You are welcome!
Sir g real analysis bartle ki books ka lecture upload tu karo
You just fucking save my year and i dont even speak english
LOL
thankyou!
you are welcome! I am very happy to see this video helped someone:)
you messed it up when you didn't change x to y or any other letter, so now I have to know which x are you talking about ..
