+Allan Johnston thanks! happy i could help! as a student who struggled and as a person who taught a bunch and tutored even more, i hope to be able to share some of the common mistakes and common questions i encountered
Me too, I understood the first part, but then he just got some weird examples and my brain was hurting! I could not understand a thing xD but glad i found this video.
I am studying for my Algebra II finals and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain these confusing things to us!
OMG, this is soo easy. Thank you! I was trying to read the explanation in my book and just about died! Thanks to you I'm going to have such an easy time on my final test! Thanks again!
@patrickJMT I think it's because many math teachers aren't able to give much attention to sepearte students who may be struggling. Tutors are awesome because they're there to help you learn and go at your pace of understanding. It's much harder to do that in a math class with 10-20 ppl in it. So I speak for all the people you've helped when I say THANK YOU SO MUCH
You make life so much easier, I can't thank you enough. I was struggling with math, Trig/Alg2, and watching your videos when I would come home helped me 10x more than reading books/textbooks/guidebooks. Thank you.
I have failed my maths for social sciences course once and with your help I have just understood the whole past exam. Thank you so much I am confident that I will pass this time around. You are the best
at least, that is true for most people. if you want a career in science / engineering / anything math related ( careers that pay well) then yes, you need this stuff.
You are amazing. I use your videos to help tutor my high school son who sometimes needs some help. I have a minor in math but have forgotten a lot over the years. I wish all math teachers could teach like you do.
I'm in college, and I'll admit, I have a great math 110 teacher. But this helped more than anything I've learned in class. You explain things so good, and I think it's also the fact that I get to watch the work be done right in front of me on the screen. So great tutorial.
I really don't understand what my lecturer is teaching like 90% of the time. Because of you, I totally understand the whole concept and am quite confident in scoring for my upcoming test! Thanks alot! Love from Singapore! ^^
I find your explanation very clear and concise. You are very good at explaining this. I looked until I found your video on youtube. YOU are by far the best. Bravo!
Thank you so much! I was having trouble with Composition of Functions really bad but after watching your video, I'm so much better at it! Thanks so much!
"Because all forms of higher thinking come from the neural connections built by solving the kinds of problems that math provides. Learning it isn't about how you criminal justice/ psychology majors use it at your terrible jobs. It's about becoming a worthwhile person."
yes, there actually is some worthwhile stuff on youtube! and if utube is garbage... so is tv! most all of it is only for 'entertainment' and after all... who wants to ever have any enjoyment in life : ) sometimes u need to see a video that helps u learn, sometimes u need to see a video that makes u laugh!
thank you so much. My teacher is very nice, but he talks too quickly for me to understand properly, so your videos really help. I'm having a test on this stuff in a couple of days, and you made my life so much easier. Really, thank you!
Wow!Thanks a lot...I happen to be a slow learner..your patience made me understand this ...I re watched 3 times to perfect it..hoping to tackle my exam this Friday well..
I am taking an online algebra class and in my final week thinking I am going to blow my GPA. It is all greek to me until this video! While I am not fluent, I feel this video is the equivalent to a pocket translation dictionary and I will survive---THANK you!!!!!
patrickJMT that's tight you're still replying to a video that's over 8 years old. Lol. But you were able to explain this better than my teacher. So I thank you.
best thing about your videos, you stay connected with all your viewers and reply to a bunch of comments. Respect brother ps. (the math part is the best)
OMG, I was so stuck until I found your video. It made it easier because of the color coordination I think whatever the case was, I completed all of my questions and got them correct in a manner of minutes versus days prior to finding your video. THANK YOU. Keep up the great work
Why do I easily understand math problems on youtube? Why can't I understand our lessons in math inside the classroom? Dude, keep up the good work. Nice job. :)

+Allan Johnston thanks! happy i could help! as a student who struggled and as a person who taught a bunch and tutored even more, i hope to be able to share some of the common mistakes and common questions i encountered
