Here are some key points for rapid revision of Internal Medicine
Cardiovascular Diseases:
a) Hypertension: High blood pressure is a common condition that can lead to heart attacks, strokes, and kidney disease.

Pulmonary Diseases:
a) Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): This is a group of lung diseases that includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It causes shortness of breath and coughing.
b) Asthma: This condition causes airway inflammation and narrowing, leading to wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.
Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders:
a) Diabetes Mellitus: A condition where the body is unable to use insulin effectively or does not produce enough insulin. It causes high blood sugar levels, which can damage organs and tissues.
b) Thyroid Disorders: An overactive or underactive thyroid gland can cause a range of symptoms, including weight gain or loss, fatigue, and changes in mood.
Gastrointestinal Diseases:
a) Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): This is a common condition where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing heartburn and other symptoms.
b) Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD): This includes Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, which cause chronic inflammation of the digestive tract.
Infectious Diseases:
a) Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Bacterial infections of the urinary system can cause pain, burning, and frequent urination.
