I have a rare kidney disease which i was diagnosed with at age 9. Its known as C3GN in nephrotic syndrome. Its a chronic kidney disease where the kidney starts working against itself. I try my best to learn about my condition as i get older and stay involved in ways to raise awareness of my condition but these types of informative videos are very helpful for people like me.
This video does an amazing job of explaining chronic kidney disease in such a clear and understandable way! Thank you for providing valuable insights that can help so many people better manage their health. Great work!"
Do you know much about Medullary Sponge Kidney? My child was diagnosed with MSK at 4 months old and has been continuously monitored by a nephrologist at Stanford. I've been told it's a very rare kidney abnormality and are not certain what could have been the cause of it. They also said it is genetic, but that doesn't sound accurate, as no one in my family, nor her father's family has had any such disease. All of my ultrasounds were also normal and never raised a cause for concern. If you could make a video about that, I will be forever grateful 🙏
I think Increase in protein consumption especially from animal sources contains nucleic acid which on degredation Increase uric acid / urea in the blood giving more of toxic symptoms to the body as the kidney is disease and can't excreate it Causing uremic symptoms and further complications to other tissues or organ of the body

How much is the progression effected on an individual wih only one remaining kidney?
I think doc there is no need for antiplatelet medication as uremic syndrome makes platelets no longer agglutinate.
Yes yes you are right. But it's judgemental thought

Why it's recommended to limit protein consumption. Isn't suppose to encourage protein intake since there is loss in urine. Please help
