Always be sure to flush out the salt water in the same day, don't leave it the next day. Corrosion can start almost overnight. In the early 90's, we had two waverunners and one time we delayed it the next day and discovered some early signs of corrosion. Salt water can be very powerful substance if neglected.

I used to have two 2001 yamaha xlt1200s. Flushed after every use, but couldnt make it through a season without blowing at least 1 cylinder. Spent more in repairs on them than we sold them for.

Chevy used to make the S10, an extremely small and light pickup for the states. Used to use one as a fuel and maintenance gear ferry for large operating machinery around lake edges the machines worked at.

all the boat launches in my area have strict "NO POWERLOADING!!!" signs everywhere, you gotta winch up your boat/ski.

Also, unplug your trailer lights before backing into the water. You already have one blown trailer bulb!

If you're in Australia get in contact with the crew at Peter Stevens (via their website) and they should be able to sort you out!

You should never do what this guy does.. Not smart. Good way to run your ski to far forward and damage the front of your ski. Also you should never power launch your ski on the trailer in most states its illegal and tears up the launch. Thirdly he states all PWC have reverse this too is not correct... Most 2 seater PWC only have forward and no reverse...

Kind of old but I figure Ill point out to new viewers that it is okay to do what this guy does. First, he didnt power launch, that was idle. the trailer that he has had a rubber cap on the stop so it would cause no damage to the rubberized nose of the ski. Second, he never said all PWC have reverse. He said MOST MODERN skis have a reverse lever.

Wow..........this is just bad advice on how to load up your pwc onto a trailer.....and I don't care what country you're
    1. THIS IS DANGEROUS!!!!
    - You can easily overshoot, overpower, and end result--- damage your pwc, damage your trailer, or hit anything your pwc is pointing at and get thrown off!!!!
    .....This just a terrible method
    ALSO
    - It also is illegal in most US STATES
    - Many older pwcs do not have reverse
    - Many boat ramps have a step incline...so this maybe virtually impossible

Lol at all the crybabys that aren't competent enough to operate their ski at idle speeds onto a trailer. How do you survive?
