Jeez, I’ve ridden bikes all my life ... camping/ hotels etc .... I have heaps of bike luggage , but never thought about using the bike luggage on the sea Doo. Thanks for posting these videos. PS earplugs too .. well done ! (I’m a tinnitus sufferer)
Hey man. It is rare to find very local people. Glad to see good old Bribie in your videos. We should go for a cruise one day/weekend. Keen to have another avid jet skier to go for a tour with. Hit me up if you are keen. (P.s. in case you didn’t gather I’m on bribie).
For the key float, I have a floating Keychain/wallet I picked up at Wal-Mart in the boating section. One half is a zippered pouch large enough for ID, credit cards and cash. The other side has a key ring with a pouch you can stuff the keys into when it's in your pocket . It's bright orange, the size of a small wallet and floats great. It's nice to have everything in one spot. Might have paid five bucks for it.
Again, those are brilliant hacks! I occasionally wear a dry Backpack on the stand up jet ski. I can carry my drone, phone, food and a couple cans of my favorite beverages. Additionally, I discovered Summer Bright Lager and two meanings for the word "tinny". Great vid man!
Exactly the channel I’ve been looking for!! Waiting for our 2021 Fish Pro and GTX170. Using the Fish Pro as our “truck” for camping. Can’t wait to explore Florida’s ICW (where we live). Looking forward to catching up on your vids and seeing future ones! 👍🏼
@@JetSkiCamping haha. Just hope Santa gets his butt here before Christmas. I’m so ready I went ahead and bought the dual trailer. It’s sitting in my garage empty lol 😂😜🎅 On another note, we live in Melbourne, FL. My Instagram posts always get faves from ppl in Australia. Haha
In this vid, I noticed your fenders. Are they a piece of what we would call a "pool noodle"? To save money, I have considered cutting and stringing up a pool noodle for this purpose. 🤷 Very light and doesn't take up much room.
So all know, that little combination lock can be hammered off in seconds and the trailer can literally be picked up with ease. Trailer is never truly save but is good to get a nice quality Medeco lock and a substantial chain from the local Locksmith shop that isn't easily cut with bolt cutters. Then you lock your trailer tires to the trailer frame.
Thanks Marc. Simple measures are to deter an opportunistic thief and make your trailer less attractive than others. If there’s multiple trailers in a carpark, a small lock and reversing your trailer against the concrete stops will make stealing it far more hassle than most others.
Loving the content on the channel. Has you or anyone explored the option of a motorcycle fuel bladders on the back. Strength should be ok as if it can handle a dirt bike jumping around should work on a ski. That way when empty they can be stored in the hood. Not saying it works looking for feedback before I invest.
G’Day Roy. Sounds like a great idea!!! I’ve heard of people retrofitting long distance fuel tanks externally but from what I gather they are permanent. Perhaps others reading this will have more information...
Hey there, would appreciate some advice on updating my trailer from skids to rollers it would help solo launching but some folk say rollers are no good for the ski's hull, thoughts?
Rollers definitely seems more popular based on what I see at the boat ramp. I’ve always had rollers but I guess you need to reverse a skid trailer a littler deeper so the ski can float on & off more easily. In theory a skid design shouls offer better support but I’ve never noticed any “flat spots” in the fiberglass hull from the individual rollers. Perhaps someone else reading this might be able to offer some more advice.

the amount of cash i spent on the seadoo accessories for storage is eye watering and for the times i have used them is such a waste of money.... these would have been far more cost effective and done the same job.....

Yeah that trailer would be a constant reminder! I’m picturing you wearing your life jacket to the dealership and asking them to hurry up.
great hacs....any idea fot iphone mount with navigation?
Cool Idea's Mate 👍🏻 I went a step further with securing the trailer, Get a Locking pin for the hitch Receiver if you have the Hayman Reecs Type Setup.
Yeah very wise - especially if you are going away overnight. Thanks Travis.
Thanks for the tips. How do you mount your 360 camera?
Love the video’s, and the noodle fenders , can you show us how you did it ?
I'm still working on the pool noodle fender - haven't quite perfected the design yet.
What do you use to mount your 360 camera on your JetSki
Any idea how to flush the Jetski when staying at a place with no fresh water supply for 3-5 days ? Should it be flushed daily?
I don't think you'll be able to flush without any fresh water. I have considered gravity feeding a gallon or two but easier to just drive to a tap.
Hey if you come to the states, come the Vegas and I’ll take you Jetski camping on lake mead or Colorado river .. gotta guest room to..
Carry a tyre pump with you, and deflate your trailer tires for an overnighter.
I don’t jet ski but this is an interesting channel

What is the brand of the Backpack?
Where do you get that same bag

What is the model of the backpack????
Maybe bring a little hose in case you need to borrow gas from another watercraft

@@JetSkiCamping I just watch an episode of watercraft journal where they fitted a bigger tank on the back of the Stx160 I think that is removable.
Cool - I’ll check it out!
like the idea of the handle bag
yeah works really well!
I found the only problem with the plastic fuel containers is that they bulge in high heat conditions..metal cans seem much safer.imo.
where to get the nifty quick release coupling in usa?
some super good ideas, well done :)

@1:14 if trailer is empty, very easy to lift it up. then roll back, that concrete block wont do a thing.
this why sea doo is the best they think of all the problems i have a link Q system instead of using straps and it might go in the intake
Can you make a video (or maybe you already have) about gear like glasses, gloves, shoes or foot covers that would work best in any occasion?
Great vid. Got my attention since I recently got a Kawa Ultra 250x and have the same issues you address!! 🙂
I have a lonely Water proof speaker, time to buy a Jetski for it.
