+1 just give us cloth pads as well. My issue has always been that the material flakes and degrades. I've had headsets just sitting around here and they still deteriorate, maybe it's the climate I'm in (humid/sub tropics), but I will take a reduction in sound quality and noise cancellation in exchange for no black flakes all over my ears/head/desk.

I love mine aye. Dual battery system on a wireless headset is a game changer. Could never go back to plug in chatging. I would LOVE this tech in a mouse, dual hot swap batteries with a dock/base that acts as a charger for the battery but also the transmitter and changing DPI/HZ etc would be dope

I realise what I'm about to suggest isn't quite what you're describing; but if you wanna keep using a wireless mouse for extended periods of time, without eventual charge issues, then it sounds like the Logitech Powerplay mousepad would be of interest to you. Of course; you'd need a G703 or G903 to go with that if it's an option you're into. This is due to how each major perriferal company has made their own propriety version of the tech, incompatible with competing products. But it could be done. Just a thought...

Almost the perfect headset for me except the mic quality is not so good it picks up background noise like crazy. if they had AI noise rejection for consoles it would be the best for me overall.

I finally bought a pair of these headsets and was so worried about the mic, but i am so glad that the software helped with it. All the mic test for the nova pro wireless mic made it sound like you were on speaker on a phone call. The presets under mic in sonar has tremendesly helped the mic. Still not the best mic steel series makes but its sooo much better now thanks to the software. I am very content with this headset now. And i am coming from a long time user of astro gaming headsets. I ditched Astros cause ever since Logitech bough them out, it hasnt exacly been the same. Like its missing something. But thank you for this review.

Use different sound presets or custom sound eqs and make sure you put the audio gain on high. When you do that it sounds very good.

Just a goofy observation: every tech review I’ve seen of these headphones used mint colored accents. Is there a subtle concerted effort to get us to go to mint mobile?

Because all of these videos are advertisements disguised as reviews and they all show the same product sent by the manufacturer. Not a coincidence that every review shows Wicked Cushions ear pads. In some countries, this is illegal.

Hi new Sub here did you no that Steelseries have redesigned the nc mic in this headset so they dont catch your ears? Made them smaller and flatter, i just got some and tbh i dont like the way the wicked cushions change the sound i think the stock pads are better but yes they can get warm but i would rather suffer that than have less bass and less nc great channel btw 👍🏼

@@TooMuchTech the problem with 3rd party earcups is they not designed to work with the headsets like the official 1s are, you see take the wicked cushions the gel ones are the same for all headsets apart from fit. The OEM 1s are designed to get the best out of headphones 🎧

i tried the wireless version and I returned them the next day. mic sounds trash, the sound quality is not good imo (compared to my old headset) and the ear cups felt bad. I went with the wired version and they felt 10x better paired with the official AirWeave earcups for just 15€. Mic and sound quality way better. less money gets you the better product IMO
