I’ve always loved Oikawa’s remark this episode that Hinata is a monster. But also how the camera focuses on Kageyama when Oikawa says it must be rough to be around and keeping up with the ‘monster’. Just goes to show that to be Hinata’s partner you can’t give any less that 100% at ALL times. It’s almost a reference back to 2x9 at the training camp when Kageyama did a ‘safer’ set just once and Hinata was furious with him. Good shout changing the MVP to Hinata this episode! I do agree that Ukai was a very strong contender too but Hinata was an absolute beast. “Man made wings” * chills *
I love that both Kenma and Oikawa acknowledged Hinata’s overwhelming presence on the court and how hard a setter has to work to match him. But Kenma was quick to say that he preferred Hinata as an opponent rather than be on the same team and be responsible for setting him, this new Oikawa who isn’t afraid any longer to explore untapped potential in his own skills as a setter is even more intrigued.
@@erineko1847 Spoiler if u have not seen the end of season 3. it showes more at end off the match when Oikawa said to Iwaizumi "i guess that the Shrimp is a spiker u end up wanting to toss to. No wonder he's got Tobio wrapped around his little finger." Just showes how much Oikawa has changed and belives that Hinata will/has become and good player that he wants to set too. And will also had that Ushiwaka says " I'll defeat u next time", to Kageyama and Hinata. And when u also remeber the fact that it is his last game in schools shows that even tho he had talked down Hinata the entire game, that he started beliving that Hinata was not only a good player but also that he had it in him to become a pro player.
14:51 "Come on Hinata! I'll support you" 15:05: "Don't you dare get worn out" Absolute chills with the background music. They are trusting on Hinata for more than his quicks now. “YEEEEEAHZ. THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!” - Ange “theboysarebackintown.” - Carlie’s soft echo 😂 Y’all are the best duo tractors out there by a country mile. So glad to have found you two. Love from Melbourne.
I honestly rewatch it like it's my first time. And I actually appreciate it more the more I rewatch it. The emotional tones hit me more as well as the hype moments. It's honestly my number 1 anime across all genres of anime since I base my list off of how much I can rewatch a series.
@@AndGabReactions With whatching this makes it my 4th time, and i love the show more and more every time i rewatch it. Whatched it first time and the end off 2022. Also every time i rewatch it i find new details that makes me love it so much more
@@AndGabReactions Ohhhh I see your point, this anime is so good that no matter how much you watch it you still feel all the emotions you've felt the first time watching it. Heck, we've probably seen these episode a dozen time but it still feels the same. Watching their reactions is another form of rewatch for me, it's nice to see someone feeling the same as you did during those scenes.
I was absolutely ready to advocate for Shoyo for MVP, but I'm glad that I waited so that it isn't necessary :D In a way it's so cool to see that Karasuno has so many good players that just do their job so well, that you sometimes forget just how insanely good some of them are. Shoyo in this episode with his ridiculous high jumps and the monster stamina that has been mentioned, cause boy has been Running. But also Tobio, who is a literal genius and whose sets are just always nearly perfect. And then you have Noya, who's just a beast with his receives, he's probably touching more than 50% of the best spiker's attacks, that don't hit the block. In real life, that's an insane quote considering the speed of those balls. But also I just need to add again how incredibly good Shiratorizawa is. Maybe not as a team (since that's the whole concept of the match) but every single one of them is amazing individually
When Ushijima tells Hinata his technique is clumsy, he's not being an idiot, it's just that it's correct and it's something they can all tell, and since he just says what's on his mind without realising it can be rude, he just says it. There's no bad intention or lies, just honesty, but like too honest, like the type of honest people usually isn´t bc they do realise it can be rude.
I do think what Ushiwaka said about Hinata not having technique is true. Until now, Hinata has been running on talent and drive to play the sport. But techniques like the basics - serving, receiving etc. - are barely passable. These themes? of hard work v. talent, patience, and how it's all defined and seen through is explored a lot in Haikyuu with characters, but I think especially with Hinata and Oikawa.
karasuno's players bringing their 120% to this game, they were all incredible. they had to be the best to be able to fight shiratorizawa and have a fighting chance
Season 3 of Haikyuu is a near perfect anime season. I think it was a great choice to make it only 10 episodes and to only make it one match. Every episode is hype af.
I get it, hearing Ushiwaka say that stuff makes a Karasuno fan go grrrr. But… he ain’t wrong. Hinata has basically no technique. His serve and receive are both weak. Hinata talked a big game about beating Ushiwaka but it’s not even close between them.
I dunno, on it's own maybe. But season 3 is the culmination of season 2, and is a straight 10 episode match with perfect animation. While season 4 animation is a little wonky at times
In terms of pay-off, season 4 is phenomenal for Hinata, but as the other guy said, season 3 is just straight match with amazing animation. Not to mention we have that Tsukishima moment.
@@rasna2212 not only hinata moments belongs to season 3 also we see that tanaka and tobio make huge changes and they much better than in season 3 even asahi and others still making progress , so taking away animation that is better in S3 i think the same match and other stuff that is happening in season 4 is way much better, i have much more emotions watching season 4 part two than season 3 , but like i said in my opinion there are also more "good"moments that in 3 season
@@deadarmy3540 absolutely in terms of character moments season 4 has season 3 beat in a lot of cases, but I feel like match-wise it's just straight hype with awesome moments and incredible emotional beats. I do definitely enjoy a certain match in season 4 though. Incredible plays incredible moments
I don't agree with saying the Shiratorizawa relies too much on Ushijima while Karasuno has a whole team, they use Ushijima so much bc he's that good but the rest of the team is also fantastic and they're very well used too, and let's not forget they would even reject Kageyama bc didn't know how to play as a team and get everyone's abilities at their best so they're very careful with choosing people who makes an actual full team and complements the rest, they're not one man team with some extras or get worst in their game for using their best player as much as they do, they're a really well rounded team
I love your reaction so much!!!
