That kind of people always love to have power over someone even after they don't work there anymore and they don't care about consequences because that's how they got in that position.
I can explain what happened with the line cook that gave op the food, no I do not know op nor have I ever lived in Chicago but I am a cook myself and I've seen similar things in various restaurants. The line cook that set up op has done something dumb or was already being looked at as dead weight, the bosses fredo and Harvey blackmailed him essentially most likely promising to make whatever was hanging over the cooks head go away if he played along, well when you cook for crap wages but also know that this is probably the best wages you are gonna get, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to nail down the dude was threatened to play ball in the charade or be fired. Corporate restaurant life is pure hell, mom and pop local joints generally are better (though not always)
This kept entertained on my balcony in the middle of the night when we had a power outage. Thanks for that. And good for him even though it wasn’t the OP‘s intentions he got literally identity thieves which is even though it’s just a tiny fraction at least it’s something.
The line cook who gave the free food was in on the firing, but just as likely was forced into it by being blackmailed for his illegal status. His admission was probably due to being an honest person who felt guilty for allowing himself to be bullied.
Many people in the position of being an illegal immigrant will find themselves in a precarious position of being blackmailed to maintain their livelihoods. It'll basically come down to, "do this, or we're reporting you to the government." So although, yes, the line cook most likely partook in this, I wouldn't go so far as to say they had much choice in the matter.
My brother worked at a flying giant cow restaurant for a while. The head manager was insane. I don't mean that as an insult, I literally mean the woman was crazy and needed professional help. She was actually a really hard worker...which is not a good thing when you are completely and utterly incompetent and everyone has to follow behind you and undo your messes. As I said, this woman was crazy. This restaurant chain sets up their kitchens at every location the same exact way so if a cook transfers to a new location, they don't have to relearn everything. She would, *on a daily basis,* rearrange the spice rack complaining that 'someone messed with it again' and how each new arrangement was 'how it was supposed to be.' She completely ignored corporate policy and made her own rules for _everything._ 'Her way' always took longer and usually didn't work as well. She basically made everyone do things wrong because she had to micromanage everything that happened in the place. We're talking 'pointy haired boss' from Dilbert except its less funny when it isn't a joke. She would find a way to fire anyone who talked back, said no to any of her demands or otherwise didn't cower before her. My brother realized the writing was on the wall one day when she came back and yelled at him for making the wrong order. The order in question was still on the computer and he made what was written there. He said that if there was a mistake it was the server's not his. She screamed at him for 15 minutes and demanded he sign a writeup admitting he not only screwed up but was belligerent and insubordinate. He refused to sign it (of course) and wrote in the why he wouldn't sign it section a short description of the event flat out calling her a liar. He then started looking for a new job which he found not 3 days later. You may be asking yourself, 'if she was so crazy and such a terrible manager why was she in charge?' Well, there's no proof of this but the main theory among the crew was that she was sleeping with the district manager. Now, again, there's no way to know for sure but about 3 months after my brother quit I found out from someone I knew that also worked there that both her and the district manager were fired _on the same day._ Me thinks that lends credence to the theory. I asked the new DM if he knew why she was fired. Naturally they have to be vague but he said it was for 'going against corporate policy.' Now that could have been literally anything she did on a daily basis but I also got the feeling that my brother's write up may have played a role since the new DM told me to tell my brother that he was welcome back. My brother politely declined.

Karma in cooks terminology: " For every swine there is always a cauldron with boiling water waiting.. " and those 2 jumped into it head first.
Karma in this story tastes better than the free soup...
Mmm good.
🤣👍🍵
Harvy sounds like clevlend brown
Has anyone ever told you that you do a good Cleveland impression?
This is more nuclear then Chernobyl at all times combined.
18:24. That´s not a nuke, that´s the Death Star from Star Wars.
That kind of people always love to have power over someone even after they don't work there anymore and they don't care about consequences because that's how they got in that position.
The backround is glithing for me
just wondering that is the game in the backround?
Harvey sound like Cleveland from family guy
the bike game name?
its crazy that my name is Harvey, anyways, trying to fight me 🤺
I can explain what happened with the line cook that gave op the food, no I do not know op nor have I ever lived in Chicago but I am a cook myself and I've seen similar things in various restaurants.
This is the best revenge story I ever heard. Literally got nuked so hard wthhh like so many crimes got discovered unintentionally
The line cook who gave the free food was in on the firing, but just as likely was forced into it by being blackmailed for his illegal status. His admission was probably due to being an honest person who felt guilty for allowing himself to be bullied.
Agreed, I feel bad that he ended up getting deported
yea. forced or get deported
She would, *on a daily basis,* rearrange the spice rack complaining that 'someone messed with it again' and how each new arrangement was 'how it was supposed to be.'
She completely ignored corporate policy and made her own rules for _everything._ 'Her way' always took longer and usually didn't work as well.
Yo what’s the game you are playing
iv heard this story before but its a good one so ill keep listening
I did too. It was a great one!
When God is watching over 😊
A firing that backfired so badly it hurt the company and caused the fbi to get involved. I like this
That was brutal
Why tf does he sound like the black guy from family guy when he does the voice thing of harvey and fredo 💀💀
