I had extremely minor and not yet doctor diagnosed ptsd, so I felt that my past was really good compared to my friends'. Eventually, after almost a full school year of listening to my friends trauma, I was pretty depleted. Combined with my parents not wanting to take me to a mental diagnostic checkup, I was not feeling great. No. You are absolutely not the asshole, I've been in a very similar situation growing up and that guilt will eventually fade. In my opinion, if they at all thought of you as an actual friend and not a therapist, they would not have dumped all of their trauma on you to the point of depletion. I'm saying this from my own experience, and being way out of school now, I do remember my friends at the time having those issues as well, however, school should not include being a therapist for trauma. If what you say about Story 2 is accurate, if Izzy doesn't take a break from helping Maisie now, it may hinder her capacity to help Maisie (and Luke) in the future.
I feel bad for izzy. I grew up with adhd being diagnosedat 10. I had a friend throughout elementary school for awhile who had mental illness that impaired her speech and I was good friends with her. Now her mom was a good mom and understood what it meant for me to be a child. I'm also visually impaired too so I was also special needs for that as well being born with my condition. I don't remember what happened and why we couldn't hang out anymore but I hope she's well.
for the story about the special needs kid, when i first heard you say " am i the jerk for not wanting my child to be with a special needs kid" i was like"OF COURSE YOU ARE YOU ENTITLED PARENT just cause there different doesnt mean yu shouldnt let your son around them"but then when i heard the story i was like oh okay maybe thats fair ;so i say n not jerk
I’m 16 I have Four cousins who all had autism and they were just shy and they were picky but they liked playing with us and I love my cousins there are a few years younger than me so I take care of them when I saw the headline for the second story I felt the same way as you but I also knew it could be stressful but once I heard the story I knew there’s nothing wrong with what the girl wanted she’s not the jerk or the mom
the entlitled ones are the ones who think everyone else has to put up with their childrems bullshit because they are not able to properly handle having a neurodivergent child
Third story: a terrible father and if he told me to call I'll tell her the truth and change the locks and tell him if he ever pulls another stunt like that I'll call the cops
If Maisie's mom is so certain that she can't handle the separation anxiety from sending her on that trip, then she shouldn't send her. I understand where she's coming from, but regardless of her intent or feelings, she's being a Karen here. She's asking another parent to sacrifice their child's happiness and mental well being for the sake of that of her own child. OP already has one child that their daughter helps with under these circumstances, so it's unfair to her to expected her to do it for someone else's child as well, ESPECIALLY when she's supposed to be at an event where she can let go of that stress and just have fun. It's comparable to those parents who constantly force their children to babysit their younger siblings at the expense of their own social lives. It's unfair to them, regardless of the circumstances.
This! I'm autistic and ADHD with anxiety, and I have an older brother who has learning difficulties and (violent) mental health issues and took up most of our parents' attention. I became known at school as that girl that kids with issues could talk to, and I felt obliged to help. It was really heavy stuff, especially for a kid. I was basically acting like a therapist, and I had NONE of the training to do so. There were times where I had to ask my mother to "be the bad guy" and not allow me to hang out with certain classmates, because I was just too tired and stressed. I see this in Izzy. She's not just babysitting, she's being forced to be a CAREGIVER like a special needs aid. Also, as an autistic person with anxiety, it's a good idea to push comfort areas, in safe ways. So a class trip is a good idea, especially if the right prep work is done BY THE CAREGIVERS (teachers, teacher aid's/special needs teachers, PARENTS, NOT a CLASSMATE). No matter how helpful Izzy is, she's also a kid. And it's not her job to be a caregiver to a classmate. It's her job to be a kid, to learn and to have fun. And it sucks cause Maisie might not be able to handle the trip. So either she doesn't go and misses out, or else her caregivers be prepared in case Maisie might need to leave early.
I completely understand what Izzy is going through and I am actually going through it right now, I can say with certainty that my mental health has dropped ever since I became friends with said person (no hate to them they are going through a hard thing but they also has made it impossible for me to hang out with any of my friends and etc), I also had a severe panic attack bc of the situation, I think it will be best to listen to Izzy or Izzy will most likely have issues in the future with her own anxiety and dealing with her own emotions
I agree with not having your daughter Izzy share a room with a special needs kid unless your daughter says it's okay. The mom is not a jerk the jerk is the mother who expects someone else to take care of her child.
as someone who has took care of people from a young age more than i should’ve, izzy needed a break and it’s not being a jerk ro take time for yourself. I’m currently trying to be less of the therapist friend and it’s going well so far. Don’t feel the need to help everyone that need help 24/7
As someone from part of the expectrum i completely understand both. Luckily my parents gave the best for me and I'm fully functional adult and follow the carrier I wanted and live happy with my now fiance
2nd story makes me so said. It is a lose lose sinario. Izzy rooms with Maisy and is stressed the whole trip, as she has to ack like a adult, or Izzy does not room with maisy and feels bad about it and maisy freaks out, which is not Izzy’s problem, but could cause guilt
OP of Male Karen tries to put my DOGS DOWN & Make me HOMELESS but I got ProRevenge your not the jerk if i wasnt lazy i would of done this myself because i have a dog of my own being a basset hound I love him to bits so if that guy threated to get him put down i will be angry and sad
Something happened to my friend similar to story 1 a long time ago so basically when she moved into wales (from Poland) with her family when she was only 5 her family kept getting notes from a stranger saying that her family has to leave bc they’re polish. They found out this guy writing the notes didn’t even live in that area he was just a plumber who came every month or smth. What an idiot
Story with Maisie. The mother should know better than to try to manipulate others by using her daughter. It's a shitty tactic, and she should feel ashamed for trying to do that. Izzy deserves time to herself. That other mother is terrible. 😮💨
The Second Stories title kid of made me have a opinion of what might have been told before I heard the story and that has changed a lot. Izzy deserves a break and to have fun as a kid.
That last story was crazy, how idiotic and irresponsible can you be leaving your son anywhere for a simple date. For someone like me being a nurse it kinda freaked me out the situation, getting out of shower and out of nowhere my nephew is inside my house. I could take him with me, but nurse shifts are not so calm as they seem, and my hospital doesnt have a daycare. Just thinking of this hypothetical scenario makes me anxious. And for all those who think i'm overthinking the situation and i should be just calling the parent (you are RIGHT), but im not good at confrontating others especially if it's family.
Honestly story 2 is quite a big question, but respecting a girl's choice on her adgency and wanting to live as a child and not as an adult is extremely important. I think it's a problem the school and the parents need to solve, and the girl must absolutely get out of a system on which adults rely on her to take care of some her age ! It's very good that she is fond of taking care of children with the same problem as her sibling, but to gazlight her into taking the role against her will ? Absolutely destrictive for her, she'll learn that she has to live through the guilt of letting people in need down vs the fact that she needs to take care of her and what she feels first. If people push her in this direction, which the school and Izzy's mother inconciously do, she'll break down from the responsabilities sooner or later. Kids should be responsabilized, but not at the expense of sacrificing their freedom and young years because they feel they need to please. Let them be dirty, angry and make mistakes before they decide to be role model kids for the adults, show them the way but also let them explore what they truly want to do.
Story #1: As a landlord I can certainly say any kind of karen is a nightmare to deal with. They have a tendency to scream at other tenants and constantly reference the property as, "My building" or "My apartments". They even try doing this to me. I encourage tenants to call the police and get a report number from the officer. When I get the report, I contact the proper authorities and get a copy of the report which is used in court against the karen. Without police reports, the judge will probably side the Karen since the complaints can't be too bad if no one has ever called the police. Too many times I get calls from tenants asking me to call the police for them b/c their personal beliefs will not allow them to call the police on another person. I have to explain that I'm not there, I didn't hear the noise or the threat, I can not call it in since I'm not directly involved. I do try to calm the situation and talk to the karen, but it's difficult when a man or woman in their 40's acts like a 5 year soiled brat. The OP did a good job in getting him removed as we always advise customers to read the lease. My other recommendation is to request a copy of the leasing agreement before you meet to sign if you get approved for an apartment and read it over. You may find something in it that makes you rethink your decision to move there. The best tenants we have are always the ones who requested and read the lease before they sign.
The first story the karen is like the type of guy who would make a beautiful village made of wood on Minecraft and at nighttime all the doors become iron doors and he burns the entire village to the ground with the villagers still stuck in their homes and not just a few like hundreds of villagers
If he live in a place full of dog why he live there THAT is the useless thing to do and in name of god sleep ALL DAY What is his job and IF he very rich WHY he can not find a place no dog and YET LIVE THERE

Personally I’m not surprised about the dog story…that being said I still have empathy for the dog…and it’s owners. And this is why I dislike most humans. Because 96% of humans I’ve met aren’t very nice…and I consider my enemies…
Listening to the second storyt I understand how the girl is feeling, As someone who has Autism and ADHD, I know how hard and stressful it can be helping someone especially if they have Anxiety and need someone around and you're honestly right it's a little girls job to fit another person's needs it's the person's, the school/place of work and their families job to help them out and help with sensory issues, anxiety and that sort of stuff
Story 2: Izzy is *intolerant* for not being a SLAVE to that horridly SPOILT child whose own MOTHER REFUSES TO GET THE KID HELP TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE AT HAND? not Izzys fault, the mother is an AH & she NEEDS to have that poor kid removed :(

Yeah i wouldve treid to rip him lim from lim
Sooo... Are we gonna ignore the fact that he sounded like Cleveland Brown over here? Lmao 1:23
for the story about the special needs kid, when i first heard you say " am i the jerk for not wanting my child to be with a special needs kid" i was like"OF COURSE YOU ARE YOU ENTITLED PARENT just cause there different doesnt mean yu shouldnt let your son around them"but then when i heard the story i was like oh okay maybe thats fair ;so i say n not jerk
Yeah the title is a big jebait, rofl.
The mother was being so manipulative it's shocking. Using the other mothers own son as an example is horrible.
beautifully said
Not a jerk, this guy deserved to defend his home and family.
Def
So right
Everyone, I made a discovery! Instead of calling males “male karens”, I’ll call them Karls.
What happened to Kevin
@@destinywright1816 Oh yeah. Kevin. Forgot about that. Edit: who invented Kevin, as in like the male version of a Karen?
😂
Karl is good, kyle can be a bitch
Nah, I know a pretty cool guy named Señor Karlos, Kevin is pretty evil though
Who else didn’t noticed that the male karen almost sound like Cleveland from family guy
1: not a jerk
2: not a jerk
3: not a jerk
One is a jerk she probablemente made him homeless
Came from tik tok, now ik binging your vids
as someone who has took care of people from a young age more than i should’ve, izzy needed a break and it’s not being a jerk ro take time for yourself. I’m currently trying to be less of the therapist friend and it’s going well so far. Don’t feel the need to help everyone that need help 24/7
in the first story when he was reading the note I laughed so hard because of the voice he made
I know and he said"I can do that because I’m SUPER RICH." So why not just go buy a house away from dogs.??
The voice he does for the neighbor kinda sounds like Cleveland from family guy
i have only started watching this channel today and i LOVE IT
keep up the good work :D
As someone from part of the expectrum i completely understand both. Luckily my parents gave the best for me and I'm fully functional adult and follow the carrier I wanted and live happy with my now fiance
Awesome stream!
I’ve never seen a male Karen this is very rare footage
Man really sounds like evil Cleveland Brown😂😂
Nah man that voice of the neighbor was so funny🤣🤣
I constantly thought that Cleveland Brown complained whenever you did that karen voice. It‘s pretty funny.
Keep doing your best!
How does this guy do a perfect cleveland impression without trying to do one?
You stood up for your mom you stood up for your dog she stood up for your home that's wonderful I'm glad you and doggies and Mom are okay❤
OP of Male Karen tries to put my DOGS DOWN & Make me HOMELESS but I got ProRevenge
your not the jerk if i wasnt lazy i would of done this myself because i have a dog of my own being a basset hound I love him to bits so if that guy threated to get him put down i will be angry and sad
In story one the voice for the neighbour sounds like Cleveland from family guy
Story with Maisie. The mother should know better than to try to manipulate others by using her daughter. It's a shitty tactic, and she should feel ashamed for trying to do that. Izzy deserves time to herself. That other mother is terrible. 😮💨
I like how the angry dude’s impression sounds like cleveland from family guy
I feel you izzy I practically had to deal with the same thing at a gold club I used to go to as a kid with my parents
12:28. Not the jerk. The child needs a break. I have 2 autistic kids and in social groups a lot. I never got how some moms treat people.
i left my ex just a few weeks ago because he basically just disposed of his dog, after he was being generally abusive towards him.
story 3 i would just do the same as op as being a nurse is a crucial job if not performed right people can loose thier lives
Bruh everytime you make that low country voice, you sound like cleveland.
That neighbor impression sounded like Cleveland Brown
The Second Stories title kid of made me have a opinion of what might have been told before I heard the story and that has changed a lot. Izzy deserves a break and to have fun as a kid.
So angry Cleavland is mad at a dog even though he can move away from it
Hmmmm why is this calming
No. 1 Male Karen sounds like Cleveland Brown.
I love how these male Karens sound like Cleveland Brown from the show.
Dog owner is not a jerk. I am glad the mean neighbor had to move. And I think it is genius what the dog owner did.
I love it whenever ya dudes do the Cleveland or Marg voices for the Karens
I like how the Male Karen sounds like Cleveland Brown.
Number 1: You were not the Jerk.. you were the Hero
Shit-zu are the only breed my family knows how to train
I like how his voice of the douche in the first story sounds like Old Greg
The Cleveland brown impression is hysterical
Definitely not a jerk, that man was just being a Karen
6:58 I would say in a passive aggressive tone “to-da-loo”
The evil voices kill me 😂
Edit: sounds like old Greg
the neighbor sounds like cleveland brown
Story 1
i like the karens voice XD
Why is the neighbor Cleveland Brown
I love the Cleveland brown voice
Is that the Colin Furze pulse jet bike?
Cleveland Brown is that you?
Cleveland Brown going crazy
the first story is literally an uno reverse card moment
That last story was crazy, how idiotic and irresponsible can you be leaving your son anywhere for a simple date. For someone like me being a nurse it kinda freaked me out the situation, getting out of shower and out of nowhere my nephew is inside my house. I could take him with me, but nurse shifts are not so calm as they seem, and my hospital doesnt have a daycare. Just thinking of this hypothetical scenario makes me anxious.
And for all those who think i'm overthinking the situation and i should be just calling the parent (you are RIGHT), but im not good at confrontating others especially if it's family.
Time to hear this while im trying to sleep
🤣 same
Yep also hi aitj and Gustav
I also came from ticktiok
I rarely react to stuff like this but the end to the story of the dog owning gigachad made me happy
that voice for the neighbor got me laughing
2:30 why would a rich person live in an apartment?
I did not know Cleveland hated dogs😅
I love your UA-cam videos❤️😄
Love the video's keep up the good work
Story #1: As a landlord I can certainly say any kind of karen is a nightmare to deal with.
He sounds like Cleveland
The first story the karen is like the type of guy who would make a beautiful village made of wood on Minecraft and at nighttime all the doors become iron doors and he burns the entire village to the ground with the villagers still stuck in their homes and not just a few like hundreds of villagers
If he live in a place full of dog why he live there THAT is the useless thing to do and in name of god sleep ALL DAY What is his job and IF he very rich WHY he can not find a place no dog and YET LIVE THERE
My man in the 1st story went full Yu-Gi-Oh on the obnoxious neighbor. Never threaten a dog owner's precious family member(s). I say the OP is Not A Jerk.
Personally I’m not surprised about the dog story…that being said I still have empathy for the dog…and it’s owners. And this is why I dislike most humans. Because 96% of humans I’ve met aren’t very nice…and I consider my enemies…
Karen:YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING AGHHHHHHHH
OP: where's my nuclear football, time for some nuclear revenge
Listening to the second storyt I understand how the girl is feeling, As someone who has Autism and ADHD, I know how hard and stressful it can be helping someone especially if they have Anxiety and need someone around and you're honestly right it's a little girls job to fit another person's needs it's the person's, the school/place of work and their families job to help them out and help with sensory issues, anxiety and that sort of stuff
Story 2:
Izzy is *intolerant* for not being a SLAVE to that horridly SPOILT child whose own MOTHER REFUSES TO GET THE KID HELP TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE AT HAND?
not Izzys fault, the mother is an AH & she NEEDS to have that poor kid removed :(
Why does the neighbor sound like Cleveland Brown from Family Guy?
Male Karens are called Kevins.
I’m really surprised Cleveland made such a stink about your dogs. He always seemed like the type of guy that would be a pretty good neighbor to me.
Dog owners rise up, I have a little chihuahua daschund mix who’s a bit loud when we get home cause she gets excited to see us thankfully we live in an actual house and not an apartment, Ik a lot of people say this but when it comes to my fur babies I’m very defensive especially when it comes to sissy the chihuahua daschund mix cause deep down she’s a sweet girl but very very vocal, I’d probably do the same thing as op although I’m surprised op didn’t throat punch him after he insulted their dogs that takes a lot of restraint imo.
None of them are jerks
