Since building my newest PC for MS 2024, I'm gravitating back to MS 20-20 more, because of one thing. In MS 2020, in cockpit, the left and right arrows, allow me to slide left or side in front of the instrument panel, setting up different views with each key board combination, EX: CntrlAlt2 to see my flight computer, or CntrlAlt1 for a closeup of my altimeter and compass, or CntrlAlt3, to look at the overhead switches. MS 2024, is only allowing me to 'rotate' left to right' or reverse, as if I'm stuck in the captain's chair. Making it harder to look at and access the flight computer or other lower controls. How do I regain that feature? Is it even in MS 2024? Thanks. So what keyboard combinations can you use to assign a specific view, like you can do in 2020.
@Matt_TheSimmer ok, I found the custom camera in the controls area. In 2020 I could actually sit inside of the cockpit, slide around and hit cntrlalt2 or 3 or 4 to lock in the particular view that I wanted. Does 2024 not allow you to do that while sitting in the cockpit? Thanks
@Matt_TheSimmer thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Another UA-camr EasyJet Sim pilot actually did the process one by one and I was able to duplicate my 2020 camera views in the cockpit of my 2024 Sim.
so reset cockpit button sends it back to the default view. can i edit this default view so it’s more zoomed in by default. the vfr view save and reset from msfs 2020 don’t seem to work
Nice Job! Thank you.
Thank you!
🙏

You just need to set "custom cameras", which is an option in your "controls" panel

I don't think so
Go to camera option and set your zoom, height etc. that's your default cam. I made mine a little bit higher and zoomed out a bit.
