Sonia, I had an apartment in Calabria Italy and the gentleman that did the upgrade is Romanian, him and his crew. They were so good to me. Beautiful people. His wife is fluent in English and help me with translation then. I will be going back to Panama, I am from Los Santos. I love Penonome! I will be moving to Boquete. So happy to have you in Panama.
Wonderful video. A fellow Canadian here. All the best to Sonia who looks like she is living her best life. Was in Panama in March with my husband in Rio Hato. Stayed at the Royal Decameron. Got to see Anton Valley as well. First time in Panama, we were so impressed with everything. The people, the food and of course the country is beautiful. Would love to see more of Panama. Who knows maybe we will retire there as well.

Hi Sonia, I have a place in La Pintada, lived there for 5 years. I am from the US, returning to Cocle soon. Glad you like it there. Very peaceful and much more there in Penonome than when I lived there. Maybe I will run into you. Enjoy
Very peaceful and a little cooler than Penonome but of course less convenient for shopping. I lived there 2007 to 2011 and there were no expats in the area. Are there expat meetups in Penonome now. I would love to join in when I get there. Thanks
Penonome is very fresh, its sorrounded by lot of mountains. I love the nature, the hikes, the history... a lot to discover here and everything is close. There´s even a cinema there
Guess what? People from Romania are LatinX too. 😁 ...Just like the French, Italian and Portuguese. That's why she understands Spanish. Because Romanian is very much like Spanish. Romania was once occupied by the Romans and that is why Romanian is a romance language.
@@fanfare100 Yes, Romanian is considered a Romance language. Regarding the French language, it has a common root, but most French people would never be confused with someone who was Latina. This lady has a great deal of texture in her hair and has a deeper complexion than someone from a traditional French lineage. Genealogy changes greatly over time, at one time ancient Italians look vastly different than Italians do now, so it difficult to define what a traditional Italian looked like. Emperor Augustus was reputed to be dark blonde with grey-blue eyes, so while one can find Northern Italians with this look, it was more common in the past.

@@PanamaRelocationTours Sorry, but does Sonia still live in Miraflores? I just checked with a realtor who lives in Penonome. She said the closest beaches are 30 - 40 mins away.

Ok. I will have to re-visit Penenome then. Do know the names of the places. I am planning to go to Panama for over a month in January to open a corporation so I can definitely go back.
I fell in 💗love with Cartagena Colombia but now I am very curious about Panama for relocation$$$. Tired of the US and Florida. So expensive here now it's ridiculous!!!
Cartajena is very nice but it has become very over inflated. Try Panama for a very similar flavor but also more stability, security and affordability. Plus, the national currency is interchangeable with dollars.

Hello, watching from California
Thanks for coming
Amazing video and a beautiful and courageous Sonia!!😍❤️
Glad you liked it!!
Thank you!
It is refreshing to watch a recent video from just 3 weeks ago, most of what I find are 2 or 3 years old
We do a livestream weekly and try to add a new expat interview video at least once a month. So there are MANY videos that are not 2-3 years old.
Sonia surprised me being from Romania, she looks very Latina!
