Hey I have a 96 Tacoma. When I press the horn I hear the relay clicking but no sound. I checked continuity through the horn and it was good. Hard wired it to the battery and it was good as well. The fuse is fine and I even swapped the fuse to be sure. I was just thinking that there was a simple contact switch. If the clock spring wasn’t good would it still send a signal to the relay? Thanks for your time!!

I got a 2003 tacoma from a family friend they have the clock spring part they bought and the horn doesn't work, cruise doesn't work, and airbag lights on. They said I needed the new clock spring in. I asked some guy in my town I found to fix it and he said if it were a clockspring the engine light would be on and it would start rough, I think he just tried to scam me because he wanted money from me to tell me that....
I'm pretty sure it just needs the replacement clockspring put in right?
Hey man, can you please show me how to remove the steering wheel step by step (or explain to me) . My 2012 tundras horn is not working and I already checked the fuse so thats not the issue. Im guessing i have to replace the clock spring?? Id appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

For sure! Could you just tell me how to safely remove the “airbag” section of the steering wheel? Thats my main concern. Your video just shows when you’ve already removed it... thanks allot bud

Could this he the problem for my horn only working when it wants to? I rigged up a cable to the horn itself and it works but the steering wheel wont make a sound only when it wants to
It could be this issue one thing to try is turn the steering wheel all the way to both sides while pressing the horn and if it works at a certain point that's one way of knowing.
And if the horn doesnt work when i do that what else could it be?
@@Mogazilla make sure no wires are loose on the horns itself. If you find no issues on the wiring and horn I would just replace the clock spring.
