2007 Subaru WRX CV Boot Replacement - Quick & Easy!

Doing an outer CV boot replacment on a 2007 Subaru WRX. It may be messy, and a little time consumming but if you have the tools and the time it's totally doable!

I done the same job on my 06 and I didn't have to remove the camber bolts your just making more work for yourself but each to their own I guess

Are the sti and wrx boots the same size?

Does it matter how much torque you put on the inner axle nut and strut/camber bolts?

Are the outer and inner boots the same or different?

different sizes. 28323AG010 is the OEM number INNER boot for a 6 speed Subaru Legacy 3.0 SpecB, I believe the same as this car - 28396AG021 is the OUTER boot (this video)

Putting the grease in the boot it will stay in the boot. It'll never make it into the cv

@@brandonmelby5547 years of working on class 1 and 10 cars for desert racing taught me that. Funny thing armin Schwarz who used to race rally made a product called cv savers that keeps the grease inside the cv joint for the company all German motorsports
