I've had these for about 2 years. They blown almost everything in the price range out of the water. Bass is more powerful than expected, honestly don't need or desire a sub for most content.
Ive had these same speakers but in a beautiful white colour on my home setup connected to an iMac for over a year now, after a few weeks they start to sound even better , they need to be worn in a bit, but in todays age of digital assistant speakers, and one speaker systems, its refreshing to have these, wooden speakers,,gives a nice natural sound in stereo (which these days is rare) with the treble turned up, and the bass kept slightly more than the middle. Ive been hearing things in my music that even my headphones or car speakers , or any of my alexa speakers can pump out.
Can the left speaker out on the active speaker be used as a speaker in that can be connected to an external amp while the active speaker is not connected to the power outlet? What I mean is can the active speaker be connected as a passive speaker which is connected to an external amp if I wanted to?

I've been eyeballing these for a while now. Perfect timing!
