I know first hand...mine went at 65,000 miles,,LOL..get extended warranty. Chrysler/ Fiat has redesigned that engine 4 or 5 times now ! I have had 3 jeeps now ( 98' Cherokee,4.0 straight 6) Great car and engine. 2008 Grand Cherokee ( 4.7 ) also very good engine 8 cly. This 2011 is the worst designed engine ever !
Plastic oil cooling units,,plastic thermostat housings,,Who ever thought plastic parts on engines was a good idea ????Also A/C ,Transmission cooling units go out about 40,000 miles ! Good luck !
