I had to watch this in 2 parts because it got long as you described each yarn ball you had. But I watch these videos to actually see what others have and their plans for their yarn. I have been crocheting since I was 8 and just taught myself how to knit last year. I am 67 now. But as frustrating as it is for me right now, I truly enjoy it.
I commend you for getting through it! 😂 it definitely is long, but just like you, I love seeing what people have in their stash and what they plan for it. Also it definitely gave me motivation to bust my stash. I’m so happy to hear you’re loving knitting. I’ve never crocheted, but there are so many amazing things to knit, I have plenty to keep me occupied. You’ll get better and better! Took me years to finally get the right tension- and even now i sometimes struggle! Thanks for watching 😊
I loved the video, I also buy less yarn than i should and then i play yarn chicken :) i see this was posted a year ago so i can't wait to see what you created ❤
Thanks for sharing, it amazes me how you pull out your needles with what feels like reckless abandon! 😂 do you plan on putting the needles back in, or do you frog and start again? I’m so intrigued!😊
I do that all the time! I think I got used to it when I only had a few circular needles and would change projects. I guess I should put it on scrap yarn, but it’s pretty easy to pick up your stitches again. Especially with wool! I would never try it with lace though, that’s where my reckless abandon ends! 😂
Don't throw out even tiny balls of leftover yarn. People will knit peggy squares for blankets for the homeless. I don't start a new project until I finish the first one. I had to give up doing "show n tell " videos as I just couldn't afford to keep buying yarn. If you can insert a picture of the Jersey you're saying you're going to make would be good as I don't know the names of patterns.

Great video, love seeing other people's stashes! I also really love Paton's Kroy Sock yarn, I think it would make a great Shifty!
Thanks! I’m looking forward to making it! It’ll probably by my birthday cast on in April

@@ashlanknits I see! Haha that is definitely a better solution than buying more needles.
@@loavesandletters haha maybe not the wiser solution though!
