There’s a shop here that’s been doing a craft swap every quarter. You donate your unused craft supplies and then you can go and “shop” the donated supplies. It’s been a great resource to get rid of my yarn and fabric scraps
if you don’t know what ti di with your scraps I have the perfect idea: I recently used A LOT of scraps to make a Lærke Bagger inspired sweater: my favorite, but most time consuming project to this date. I did the Louisiana sweater with one strand Drops Melody and a strand with scrap yarn tied together
My local library (St. Louis) has a group that makes square and rectangles to donate to WARM UP AMERICA. Some squares are solid colors; some are granny square; some are different patterns. Even scraps as small as a yard can be used for centers of granny squares. The finished squares are sent to another group that sews them together to make blankets and scarves for various charities.
I love your comment on Truboo! I'm a crocheter and relatively quick but every time I try to use Truboo I struggle so much because there's so much splitting. It's so soft but it's the worst! lol
Hey maybe check with your local library I know for mine they accept donations sometimes they have beginner crochet or knitting classes and scarps are perfect when just learning ❤
I don't know what it is about your hair in this video but I just realized we have the same colour and texture and also eye colour... I need to pay more attention about your makes because if it looks good on you it might look good on me 😅 I'll be taking notes !
My cat is always nosy and would not let me put yarn on the floor or do anything you did in the video. My cat is obsessed with me so I must only give him attention in his head. I miss knitting!
I’m in the process of watching but your cat aggressively cleaning itself is killing me 😩🤣
imagine me going back to edit and realizing gf placed herself in every frame LOL
My favorite part of this video is the cat lmao 😂❤
mine too 💕🤪
Your cat is legit the star of this video! She's so adorable 😍

Planning on making a scrappy pillow, with an inner pillow sewn from an old store bought t-shirt (with zipper) to fill up with left-over anc new scraps
