Hey @Raxxanterax - Just a small correction to the video, if you look at the tooltip at the top of the shipping screen it says that 1 refined bar is worth 5 ore for shipping purposes. But to get 1 refined bar you only need to smelt 1 ore. So say the harbor at 3:30 in the video wants the 4000 Orichalcum (total ore and bars), you would only need to send 800 bars of Orichalcum to meet their rewards, versus the 4000 "raw" Orichalcum.

Couple of corrections here for everyone.
1. Bars have 5x the value of ore, but it takes only 1 ore to make 1 bar. So, unless you need ore for a town upgrade, only ever ship bars.
2. Bismuth makes monsters harder which makes them drop more gold. So do bismuth first if you can tolerate it.
3. Use lesser eldrich ichor on items you want to disenchant. It bumps up the dust you get by a lot
4. We're testing a theory where fulfill a ports ore/farm requirements increases a global "reputation level" that then acts as a modifier to your shipping rewards. Just target the port rewards hard.
5. Upgrade the town recruits first. Each level higher is 50% more efficiency. Recruit peope who are only good at one job, because wages are based on all the jobs they can do ,but they only ever do one.
6. You do not pay workers if they're idle. It is incredibly hard to find t8+ workers. So if you see one, grab them. If you cannot afford the wages just leave them idle and you won't be paying them
7. Mining and smelting workers will move to another ore when theyre done with their stack. I like to put all my workers on verisium and they'll automatically work their way down,unless i urgently need something else.
man that moving to another kinda fucked me when i needed verisium ore for my town upgrade
i went to bed after getting enough and was like cool...imma wake up and give it a looksie before going to work aaand all my verisium had been smelted despite removing workers from that post
kinda wish it was an option to stop that instead of having to manually remove all workers to keep a type of ore while upgrading
@gmoddude12 Yeah, but ore is only needed for a few upgrades. Afterwards, everything is upgraded with bars. Also, if you keep playing, you'll have thousands of each anyway. It's only a very momentary hurdle.

Quick tip for people struggling with gold for their towns, the Desert Spring is a great map this league. Boss fight spawns those rare and unique scorpions which drop A LOT of extra gold
Level 11 mine gives gold equal to all minerals you harvest 600 ore gives 600 gold , over time its the best investment if you are mapping
by the time you've killed that boss you could have cleared a new map. Maybe if you got a very slow build that boss is worth doing

Small note that I seen at a other UA-camr. The BARS count as 5 times the ore.
Examples: Someone requests 5.000 Orichalcum, that is
A. 5.000 Orichalcum Ore
B. 1.000 Orichalcum bars
One important tip disenchanting works top to bottom left to right so load up the last collums with rings and amulet and always fill the fist ones with bigger items so they can work 12-15hour straight (fill the treasury to enable them for that long)

Yeah there was a league (forgot) but it had the same mechanic. Lost a lot of characters in that one.

It spawned an npc for me that had ungodly HP, a bubble shield, moved at mach 3.
There is a small issue in your video. If it asks to send 4000 Orichalcum, you can send 4000 Orichalcum Ore or 4000/5 (800 ingots) Orichalcum Ingots. The ingots are 5 times the value of ore

5 important things I've learned from shipments:
1. Always incomplete the quest (list of items the city wants), when you do you'll guarantee a unique item
2. The reward itemlevel is based on your character level when receiving it (So if you have many alts swap to your high level one when opening the rewards)
3. When sending shipments if you send pure ore/metal you'll get only gear, if you send pure wheat/food you'll get only currency.
4. Shipment risk increases less at higher value, For example going from 8,000 -> 14,000 shipment value might increase my risk from 0% -> 40% but going from 14,000 to 140,000 value increase my risk to 74%. Therefore you should either always push risk to the max or stay within the 0% margin.
5. The blue dust increases shipment value a lot 500 -> 50% increase in value.
Wait so our characters share a kings match instance? I am slow and only started mapping yesterday, so I haven’t made any more yet. I wasn’t aware it was account bound (admittedly I didn’t really read any of the patch notes)

Hi Rax, Thank you for the great video as always. I have one question: with the rewards, what does it mean,"take all rewards or discard" - what happens if I discard some of them, do I get something back for that? (my English is not great - second language)
also i recommend if you see any unusual item for your town out in the real world regardless of what ore it is just clear the map around the ore as much as possible in case to make it easy for you. plus, some ores give you a extra bonus killing creatures as well.

About Bismuth node on maps - I read a comment on reddit advocating that you actually do the opposite, and click the ore first. The reasoning being that the additional mod given to mobs will give them better loot multi, as long as you can handle the buff of course.
Another tip for people trying to farm gold, blue mobs almost always will drop gold. So even during the campaign while speeding through the areas try to clear all blue mobs you come across.
the verisium channeling is the same as in crucible league. I usually go for:
50% power if I struggle clearing the zone
75% if I'm compfortably clearing the zone
90% if I'm easily clearing the zone
and 100% only if my build is completely overkill for the zone
And also I've sometimes been using a lot more than 8000 Dust per shipment. There isn't really anything else to spend it on besides recombinating which is limited by gold more than dust. The dust has deminishing returns but if you make a big shipment even a small multiplier can be worth it.
If you haven't seen, there is a second stash outside of the Disenchanter, just near the recombinator. Make it faster to drop things instead of going back to the tavern :)
Just FYI since you're sending raw ore and say you don't have enough orichalcum to send them.....bars are worth 5x the quota. So you actually had plenty of orichalcum in the form of bars to fulfill what they wanted.
Basically no reason to send unrefined ore, it's just worse, unless you're completely out of bars.
Thanks for the quick video, hopefully it puts to rest some of the really silly theories people are spreading about how it works. It's only slightly nuanced, not rocket science or magic juju. Honestly it's a perfect balance for me IMO, they did a great job.
Love doing some shipping. My town is still pretty low level but definitely an easy way to get mats and items.
This game must be a little easier on computer. Wish i could hover my controller over the list of goods to see what im sending to other ports. Being color blind its hard sometimes to match up pictures

I hate trade, probably mostly because I don't understand it. I spend hours looking for a belt, a ring and an amulet to help with resists and hopefully add a bit of life on. I can understand why someone enjoys it though. Curious to see what your review on it has to say!

I found that if you channel verisium to 100% you die miserably but if you channel it to 90-95% the monsters are way easier, almost like regular league content mobs, and you get pretty much the same amount of ore.

bars count as 5 ore as far as i know when counting towards what port needs
Sry if this is said in chat already. Small items give same amount of dust as big ones in disenchanter ...so what i do i disenchant big items while im playing and the fill the list with small items when i log off

i think with bismuth ore after you click it it impoweres the maps but monsters also drop more gold so its best to do it as early as you can i might increase overall drops not only gold
You can CTRL+click npcs to open their window faster Raxx, Be careful with lily though, as you don't want to vendor a div card instead of turning it in.
Sending a shipment with 50% risk is a pretty bad idea imo.

Beginner question, what do i Need for the entchanter to start? I‘m in Act 3 an have Leveled every other worker to about Level 3 and there is no Option (yet) to Build something at Rog. Every help is appreciated, thx guys

I find this new town mechanic is very Wolcen like? Did any other ARPG use it besides Wolcen? That’s really the only reason I kept playing that game

It's available from A1. I mostly just used the black market (lvl 2 or 3 tavern) while leveling and spent the excess gold on town upgrades.

Any tips for what league mechanics drop gold? Im 95% sure deli is a multiplier on gold and ive been running blight and ritual. Blight doesnt drop much gold and ritual drops almost nothing lol. I'm gonna use my second atlas tree to try out a different strategy to get more gold per map. Someone said expedition drops a lot of gold but thats not been my experience but im also not specialized in expedition.
I started this league late and I’m not that experienced, but what I’ve seen in these days is that the more magic and rare monsters you can have, the best.
You can try a mechanic that increases this: Alva incursions with all magic min, expedition with increased rares however it depends on remnants, blight with appropriate nodes, etc.

hi rez, im a beginner for this game.. could u help me how to fix my acc.. so far im at act 5.. accidentally i lost most of equipment.. and my resistence stats all of them below 30... is there a way to fix this ? i tot i can buy some item from shop to use.. but cant find a single gear in shop... pls help anyone..

What do you mean tons of loot? You barely get stuff worth 3c from shipping, just some RNG exceptions here and there that get a divine....

Great to know how it works, now if they can fix the hundreds of visual bug in the kingsmarch UI i'll be happy, its fucking annoying seeing that GGG can either not do math or type the correct values in boxes. I have 15k/h in workers, the game only says i got 5k/h but i lose 20k/h this is shameful.
Only thing that sucks is when you want to stop playing but you need to grind some gold first. Tho it can be solved by disabling miners and smelters with too high wages.

First time I've heard anything similar was from Yu-Gi-Oh, with the seal of Orichalcos, so I might've not known how to pronounce it properly without it, though I think I've heard Orichalcum pronounced somewhere else as well

biggest issue i have is Versium ore, im level 86 and still have not found a SINGLE ore of this type, its actualyl holding my game up now because i cannot increase my town as all the items need it that are worth upgrading.. its getting annoying to say least, as i want to expand my shjipping lanes but need it to get next level ships
Seems weird. At level 86 I assume you're in white/yellow maps so you should have found some already. It looks like a big white rock.

Does anybody have a spreadsheet for worker gold efficiency? (AKA resources produced per gold consumed)
It seems that t1 workers have better efficiency than any other tier from what I've seen, but then at t6 workers have a close efficiency to t1. I have only checked about 10 workers tho, so if anyone has a spreadsheet for that I'd appreciate it :3

You can’t. Everytime you try to get your shipments full the game will either take half of it or all of it.
Keep the risk below 50% and hire better sailors. It will greatly help
@@deceiver444 I've been screwed EVERY TIME there is even a LITTLE BIT of red on my bar. Lmao 50%? I get hosed at 20% hell 12%. I don't even know how its possible to lose that many times in a row on such a small chance. I don't think its accurate.

@@Gopstop222 the problem is 90% of players hated necropolis which is why the league died so quickly and everyone left. Many hate crafting, myself included. I'm doing better with the shipments though. Just got 3 divine on my last one. Usually I only get 1 divine. First time I got more than 1.
