I thought the line output converter eliminates the need for the wire that you ran to your fuse box? Because the unit turns on and off when it receives a signal from rear speakers? No?
No the wire for the fuse box powers amp on and off driving and not driving. Line output converter is an adapter to tap into the rear deck speaker which brings sound to the amp
True legend right here, amazing video. I would love to make one on my installation, you made everything better.
Do you need the amp if there's a factory amp? I have the touring model and it has the "premium" audio .
Great video bud thanks for the tips.
What fuse did you put the remote wire on
Good video. gave me another idea
Is there any remote Tap in trunk for the 17 accord ?
hey man I removed that unused groomet above the hood latch groomet and my 0 gauge can fit right thru so am I good to go?
I can tell just from how the sub was hitting that was Old Town road lol
Does the wire pinch between the door?

Did you not get any engine frequency when you added the line in converter
Everything works perfect
@@NellysDIYcreations dam lucky I added a lc2i and I get horrible buzzing when all my doors are closed and I think it’s the svc feature but it idk
Pls respond to this. Do it matter which side of the add a circuit goes and how you put the fuses in the add a circuit?
Does the gap in the weather stripping cause water to come into the car?
Not at all
I'm confused why people just don't connect the remote wire to the headunit
did you need an aftermarket radio?
Nope did it with stock radio
So basically you tapped into 1 rear speaker correct?
Yep the most simplest way
so how do you connect a 4 channel amp does it have a factory amp
Doesn't have a factory amp in the vehicle. The one I put in is a amp/speaker combo
I think I'm going to do this because I can't stand that stock sub
What fuse did u use
For the fuse box or fuse connected to battery?
@@NellysDIYcreations fuse box
@@NellysDIYcreations remote wire
that wire will end up cutting cuz your gonna keep opening and closing your door then boom
Where did the remote wire go to
It goes from that fuse tap, runs down with the power wire, then to that small amp that's built into the box
I am having problems with mine I ain’t sure on how to do it 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
did you figure it out?
Like you explain but I am still confused like idk
Do you not have to run anything to your radio??
You don't run out through the radio. It taps into the rear deck speaker like I did with the converter.
Aaron Dixon can you not just get power from the back of your radio?
@@kadenbarkdull5939 nope wasnt trying to take anything apart dealing with radio .. Power comes from battery
@@kadenbarkdull5939 the radio would not provide enough power for the amp or the sub. You must run power from the battery to the sub.
So you didnt need to remove the radio at all?
No sir not at all
@@NellysDIYcreations I see now. Wow, so much easier. Thank you so much.
ghetto install my dude...
Is it safe to run the wire through the door jams
hell no
