This I feel captures the vibe not too many people caught in the pilot; ALASTOR is by no means a friend. He has something twisted and dark behind the scenes.
Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed by how many people don’t seem catch that fact about his character. Alastor’s like the last person you’d ever want to hang out with in real life, not bad-boy husbando material. This song does a great job of revealing his true colors while still keeping the persona Alastor wants to project.
@@nyxie9415 I caught it, but I'm accustomed to characters who put on a charming, friendly facade to hide their true motives and personality. It also helps I'm well out of the age range of fans who see him as bad-boy husbando (great phrase!) material.
I didn't know people think of Alastor as a husbando😂 (Its also impossible cosidering how in cannon he's aroace), I always saw him as a cool character and loved his persona as a charming and friendly yet very dangerous demon.

First off, the metal or rock backing track of Alastor's Game really doesn't fit Alastor. Yes, it doesn't sound like utter shit, just not very fitting for... someone who's time was the early 1900s. Meanwhile, Deal Maker keeps the electro-swing all through the song, start to finish. The lyrics also have a stronger relation to Alastor than Alastor's Game. As for the songs in their entirety (I have been referring to only the drop up until now) the electro-swing in Alastor's Game EASILY beats out this but that's not saying the swing in this song is bad, far from it. The voice acting is more or less the same, if not this song was slightly higher pitched. The art in this, at the drop, is better than Alastor's Game because a massive wooden puppet Alastor is just weird. However, I'd say both of them are equally as good as one another. If I had to pick it would be Deal Maker because the Lyrics have a much stronger connection with Alastor, the visuals are on par, if not Deal Maker having better visuals purely because of the drop in Alastor's Game being just too creepy, the Music in Deal Maker is consistent and definitely good, whilst Alastor's Game just pulls metal/rock out of nowhere and doesn't have much, if not, ANY buildup to a drop, and for such an intense drop in a song, that just doesn't sound right, however the electro-swing in Alastor's Game is easily better than the electro-swing in this.
Overall I prefer Deal Maker more purely because of the drop in Alastor's Game. The drop in Alastor's Game just doesn't feel right because it transitions from electro-swing to metal/rock in about no time at all. If it wasn't for the drop in Alastor's Game I'd put it slightly over Deal Maker, but not by a mile because Deal maker is still a good song.
Remember, this is purely opinion but I think a lot of people can agree that the drop in Alastor's Game is weird.

First off, disregard what I said about the voice acting as this is much more different, Alastor's Game has slightly better voice acting however I still feel that this is better for the soul reason that the drop in Alastor's Game isn't amazing.
Also, "In relation to the character" means that the lyrics have a stronger connection to the character and I am overcomplicating the reply by mentioning the relations between the lyrics and the character, as most people come only for the music. Thats all I have to say. I think. If I extend it, I'll extend it and you can't do shit about it. Have a good day!
Quick extra note about the art at the drop in Alastor's Game being too creepy: I am not fucking joking, that shit is FREAKY. I know that Alastor is meant to be a creepy character but a giant wooden puppet Alastor that takes up more than half the screen is overkill... and I'm not exaggerating how much the drop in Alastor's Game is unfitting. It's out of absolutely nowhere that a massive wooden puppet Alastor appears along with fucking rock (or metal) music and at the point my brain just ends up saying... "What the actual fuck happened?"

Honestly both this song and alastor's game by The Living Tombstone capture Alistair quite well this one captures his more devious undertone. All the living tombstone alastor's game captures how he likes to toy with people and more of his stereotypical multimedia demon like personality.
The mixture of techno and jazz is phenomenal, pair that with your devine word play and you've got a truly wonderful tune! Amazing talent, can't wait to see this song and your channel blow up!

Another Hazbin Hotel fan song, but this one actually sounds like it could be a legit Alastor themed ear worm. Electro/techno-swing is so hard to get the balance for in my listening experience. While many fan songs for Alastor emphasize his destructive and effortlessly creepy/powerful aspects, this song reminds me of what impression Alastor first made on me, when Vaggie was telling his backstory and my own first impressions. Robert Carlyle and me circa Valentine's Day 2012, I have found your "Deal Maker" song for your future playlist. If you've watched Once Upon a Time even once, you'll get that timeline reference about the episode "Skin Deep's" premiere.

I've listened to all of the Alastor-themed songs and this one takes the cake. It really sticks to the music genre of his character and it's right up there with "Insane". Amazing video and song!

I love this line in the song so much. It gives me a feeling of dread and awe... imagine encountering him for the first time, this well-dressed, thin man who looks like they shouldn't even be alive greeting you with a wicked smile and haunting glare appearing before you when you are most desperate... at the time, you were glad, but once the deal was made, but now you are a slave to this chuckling showman who treats you like a toy. Must be so disheartening when you realize you gave your soul away to someone who was as human as you were, makes me feel sympathy for husker.
