"I live my life like my soul is on stereo" Me, a vintage radio tech, who knows how far Alastor was from making it to the stereo era: confused screaming
@@RainbowEssence-c3w It's not super recent but it definitely wasn't there in 1933, at least not as a physical thing. Stereo was a concept that was long in the making (first ideas were put forward before ww2) but for general consumers it only became available around 1958-1959 and at first it was only limited to records and reel to reel tape. Around 1958 people could've bough first stereophonic turntables and turntable cartridges. Stereo records followed, first as a niche but around 1962-1963 they were already adopted by large music labels. The road to stereo in radio reception was more bumpy. The first attempts were made around 1960 but there were a lot of problems with competing formats and compatibility. There were 2 main formats competing- Multiplex and Multicast. Multicast was the idea of broadcasting one channel of stereo signal on AM (medium wave) and one channel on FM. Multiplex was a mono FM signal with stereo compound encoded into it, similar to how color TV works. Multicast was the first system to be implemented but Multiplex won because of backwards compatibility. Old mono radios just ignore the encoded stereo compound and play FM stereo stations in mono, rather than missing one channel like they would with Multicast. The downside was that Multiplex required new radios to be equipped with a decoder circuit, as opposed to multicast which only required new radios to be able to operate in AM and FM simultaneously (which is basically just adding one or two switches to the design). In the end the option of using a more complex design for new models but not having to modify existing radios was seen as more attractive. So stereo radios went through an evolution from multicast designs with connections for external multiplex decoders (around 1960), through designs with optional installation of multiplex decoder modules (around 1963-1964) to designs that incorporated multiplex decoders (mid to late 60s). Stereo broadcasting in the Multiplex system was introduced from the late 60s onwards depending on country (and whether it has already adopted FM radio broadcasting itself). So as far as stereo broadcast is concerned Alastor missed it by about 35 years, possibly more because the US was late to the game with FM broadcasting in general

How did Silva Hound make a song that is so close to the season 1 canon when we didn’t know anything about Alastor having been missing for years before the season came out-
I can see this being made into an animation for Alastor, honestly. Have the different voiced be Alastor and the Shadow singing. Honestly, great work and awesome music, been counting down the days and listening to this on loop for ages
Electro swing suits Al far too much and I have to say I love this song. Addict, Royal Flush and now this song without context stand tall on their own. And that means to me you made a great song
Today: February 13, is both World Radio Day And Mardi Gras 🤯❤️ just imagine how Alastor would celebrate this incredible timing of holidays...in fact writing prompt to the fanfic writers out there, write a fanfic where he celebrates this at the hotel!🎆
ABSOLUTE BANGER! 💥❤ I love how this shows the rivalry between Alastor and Vox. Some people in the comments have said this type of music doesn't fit his character, but I see it as him proving that his platform will never die and he can adjust to modern times when he so desires. His lifestyle is stuck in the 20's, but as a radio DJ he probably knows how to satisfy an audience regardless of the times. Idk just my headcanon
I also had this connection in my head of like.... streaming. Radio is streaming now, and through podcasts and stuff radio shows are more popular than ever. So like... idk how else to explain it, but him saying that radio is back in town just made me think of stuff like Spotify and Apple Music. The next evolution of radio... HE *IS* BACK IN TOWN!
This is definitely Alastor not only calling out Vox as a first round but, a round 2 with a vengeance. This song oozes pride, arrogance, absolution, and a hint of promise. A promise of a deal that was made. The challenge carries heavy also.
I don't usually enjoy dubstep...my ears are very sensitive, do forgive me... BUT DAMN IT WORKS WELL HERE. Perfectly encapsulates the craziness of the "Radio demon", and then those trumpets and classical-esque spurts in between. Masterpiece right here friends, so hands off those dials.
Most underrated channel I’ve seen by far, BY FAR. The visuals, lyrics, tempo, amazing! Not to mention you got Edward Bosco and Black Gryph0n to sing! It really brought the song to life. I think we all needed this song.
I love how the voice switches from what sounds more like Alastor, then switches to something that could be seen as his human voice- or his voice without the effect-
The jazzy/ trumpet sound makes me think of the parties in the French Quarter lol. Also the animation in itself kind of tells a story that just fits. AWESOME JOB TO THE THREE OF YOU!!!!!
I definitely enjoy Black Gryphons voice work. And the lyrics you have written definitely brought more of his talents to light. I hope to see more from you.
I especially like the lyrics "But I live a life So sublime, all the fire's on my side Watch it flicker in my hand like, "Wow"! I pictured Alastor smiling and happily walking the streets. I love Alastor. This song is my favorite Alastor song. I really, really, really appreciate your work! I listen to this song on my way to school, "This world is mine !!!!!" and it lifts my spirits. Que genial que puedan colaborar con los actores de voz y traernos estas canciones Que triste que probablemente ellos no volverán a interpretarlos en la serie Michael Edwary&Gabriel Creo que todo el elenco fue reemplazado no? Aunque los otros actores seguramente harán un gran trabajo también
"They say, video killed the radio star last night '33, like a deer in those flashing lights Let Mr. Vox know that I'm still around Yeah I'm back and I'm beamin', the radio demon's in town" really hits different when you know Vox and Alastor had a fight making him leave and returned 7 years later.
Once again, killing it as usual. Even better to see both of them working that voice which just adds a nice touch. (going to be late to work for this one....worth)

@@oddtomato1049 , the song Phantom does not count. The song itself was released much MUCH earlier and has a separate video clip. When the Hotel became popular, he released a video with a song that had already been released a long time ago, and just inserted excerpts of Alastor's lines into it, and actually art with him in the video, like Al sings it.
You two will ALWAYS be Alastors voice, in my mind.
To be fair, Ami Talai does do a fine enough job.
Electro swing suits Al far too much and I have to say I love this song.
Addict, Royal Flush and now this song without context stand tall on their own. And that means to me you made a great song
"This video contains flashing lights" I guess you could say id be "LIKE A DEER IN THOSE FLASHING LIGHTS"
me: watches show
also me: listens to this song
still me: when was this songg made
*song made a year ago*
me: this still fits with the show aint no way
Awesome music, perfect for Alastor! Ed did a fantastic job singing in this! Great job BlackGryphon and Silva Hound too, what a hell of a team!
Wow such an amazing song Silva good job I'm definitely adding this song to my playlist
Damn silva, I think you created the best alastor song
Today: February 13, is both World Radio Day And Mardi Gras 🤯❤️ just imagine how Alastor would celebrate this incredible timing of holidays...in fact writing prompt to the fanfic writers out there, write a fanfic where he celebrates this at the hotel!🎆
This.
Was.
Fire!
I love everything about this song! It's so catchy! Well done to all of you!
silva and grphon, loved you guys for a decade now, keep up the great work boys
This plays to Alastor so well. After tv fails than people go to radio. And it plays off Alastor and Vox so well.
0:38
Why is this part so emotional and real and catchy😭
The music and animation in this compliment each other SO WELL! Great video! I've been listening to this on repeat for over a week!
People are saying that this is not the type of music for Alastor. For me, I think of it as Alastor experimenting on different types of music.
Back a year later after season 1 and it's still perfection ❤
This song was amazing, and I loved every second of it! This was worth the wait! Great job as always Silva!
I love how the voice switches from what sounds more like Alastor, then switches to something that could be seen as his human voice- or his voice without the effect-
Gives early 2000's and 2013 vibes. Love it. I even feel like im listening to this on my old portable radio! Nice job.
(I wanted to share my thoughts in English! I think there are a lot of mistakes! Sorry!)
REAL 🔥
Absolutely amazing! Keep up the awesome work, Silva! ♥
Why is this such a bop like jeez this is amazing,I will never get tired of this song. One of my favorites currently.
But Edward is still Alastor Voice Actor
@@herobrinelp4869
No lo sabía Muchas gracias:)
not only is the song FABULOUS, the backgrounds and effects are out of this REALITY!!! I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS! I"M HITTING REPLAY SOOOO MUCH😆💯
They predicted that Al has been absent for some time
Now that we can finally see the new hazbin episode. This song now makes sense.
Wonderful just absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much Silva and to Edward and Gryph0n as well its just a fantastic song!
i reallllllyyyy badly wish this is in the official show, its soooo good! ❤❤❤❤❤
this song gives a 2000's to 2010's music style and i fuckin love it!
"They say, video killed the radio star last night
'33, like a deer in those flashing lights
Let Mr. Vox know that I'm still around
Yeah I'm back and I'm beamin', the radio demon's in
town" really hits different when you know Vox and Alastor had a fight making him leave and returned 7 years later.
As a covert narcissist I love this song, it’s my anthem
Oh WOW this is epic! Im sure we will be jamming to this along with the others hazbin songs!
Once again, killing it as usual.
Even better to see both of them working that voice which just adds a nice touch.
(going to be late to work for this one....worth)
I feel like this song is Alastor's response to Vox's song Eyes On Me
Silva can NEVER be disappointed in making the best music! Even collaboration with many great talents show how lit the songs are! I applaud you, sir!
2:46 -This moment is just gorgeous... I can't, but overhear this for the hundredth time.
Oh yeeeeeeeaaah❤️

Cool
Still i dont listen some.
I don't think Phantom counts.
Sir Pentious strike (My machine) by Paranoid DJ!
It just so happened that the song fits the Persian a little in meaning and actually decided to catch a hype on this. So you're right to think that this song doesn't count.
(Sorry if there are mistakes in the text, I am not an English speaker).
Okay...I'm not even a fan of Hazbin Hotel....but my God this song slaps. Absolutely outstanding.
Silva, Edward, and Gabe make a great team!
This should be in the actual show, Jesus this is really good
ONG
Solid tune, Silva. Nice to see ya workin with Bosco in particular. Seems like just yesterday since I discovered you through Addict.

I'm still trying to collect my jaw from the floor. This was such a suprise to see another song from this fandom AND IT'S ALASTORS' SONG?!?!!? Im in love with it and your genius work. Now I'll be listening to it, hitting replay until it breaks. Thank you
