I did get the fender mounting pads in my kit
I would reach out to where ever you purchased your MCE fenders from, or directly to MCE.
Im a little annoyed this requires punching new holes. Doesn't make sense to me that they couldn't use what already was there.

Is there any reason you couldn't replace the self-tapping screws with rivet nuts?
I didn’t see a reason why you couldn’t. The self-tapping is what it comes with but you could probably swap those out.
Why wouldn’t they just use factory fender holes that just doesn’t make sense to drill hole an inch away from factory holes
I am not sure why just that is how this company does it.
