your note at 13 minutes in: entering Turn 6 can be done much wider, noting where the brake marker cones and turn in cone is. You can put a lot of pressure to start the turn on the front tire, using trail braking. Then cut tight to meet the 2 white apex cones. then you can drift out a little bit and then come in tight for the second set of apex cones to line up the corner exit. You are welcome to follow me around next time (I exited the pits as a control rider in the middle of the video to pick up the downed rider on the KTM). Feel free to introduce yourself at the next track day and you are welcome to follow me around if I am not already booked to be instructing a student.

@@seraphim38 That would be awesome! I appreciate your offer, I would love to follow you. I thought I had to be in the class to get coaching from you guys. Thank you for your advice too! I will work on that on my next track day. I am still having a hard time following the brake marks close to the tipping point because I am still working on my trail braking, I end up over-braking instead…

@@maddtorque to be fair, Control Riders have to be focusing on keeping the track safe and watching for unsafe activities, but control riders can lead someone around or follow someone around while still doing that. If you sign up for coaching you can have a coach work directly with you for at least half the day. Some control riders are also instructors, while others are not. However, anyone who is control riding is going to have tons of skill and experience
