The difference between the two are that Frank has fixed eq frequencies, while FrankCS has user selectable frequencies. Also, the high pass is from a Helios, not Harrison, and the "top end" isn't a Pultec boost, but Pultec low pass. All in all, FrankCS is one of my favourite mixing tools, Tunka knocked it out of the park with this one!

I'd recommend Analog Obsession plugins even if you have a large budget for buying plugins. The ones I've been using the most lately: RareSE (Pulteq), SSQ (SSL EQ), BlendEQ (API/Neve EQ), Varimoon (Fairchild 660), Britpressor (SSL bus comp), LALA (LA2A), Trax (SPL transient designer) and BritPre (Neve console/preamp).

As far as I remember the low cut (F) derives from a Helios desk.

@@StudioLife101If you take it a little too far they don't sound very musical, the majority of the analog obsession plugins behaves this way, but they are free so... It's good!

it offers high +/- range for the boost/cut and does it precisely (it's FRANK!) unlike other Analog EQ emulation that doesn't really reflect the numbers shown, be it frequency point or db added/subtracted. For the Pultec section especially, where other Pultec EQs when you crank it up high to 10 it only does 4-5db max at most, FRANK goes up to 10db exactly like the numbers shown! If you consider the added volume caused by the saturation that comes with the boost, it's close to 12db. To be fair, all analog emulation EQs (except for Brainworx) break if you boost past 5db (real number, not shown on the GUI number).
Brainworx channel strips don't count because the EQ section is clean, they know if they modeled the saturation, the EQ will break past 5db range. 5db range is not practical for Channel Strip so they extend the range and remove the saturation on all their channel strips.
