Frank is a free EQ plugin that incorporates 4 different vintage analog EQ models at preset frequency bands. FrankCS (channel strip version) adds the ability to vary the frequency bands along with a preamp (tube and solid state options) and compressor (tube and solid state detection circuits).
The EQs are based on.
F = Helios
R = Pultec
A = API Style (I assume) Might be based on Combox Circuit as opposed to 550A
N = Neve
K = Pultec
At the end of the video I recreate the same basic chain using paid plugin emulations of each vintage analog EQ model.
