Impressive - Don't be fooled by the very simplistic appearance of the interface. There's a plethora of clever controls available, and it does more than just panning - it can do MIDI control out to external devices. Lightweight, elegant, and powerful.
Excellent and clever, very useful and at the same time fun enough!
Thank you!
That is bloody great. You saved the best till last - the MIDI OUT thing. I'm used to an excellent set of modulators to control any param of any plugin I want to with Bitwig, but this thing is great for DAWs like Studio ONE (which I also use) that have no clue when it comes to built-in modulation - assuming the target plugin is CC controllable. Absolutely love it. I also love the way memory slots and presets work together in audiomodern plugins.
Can't believe you guys gave another top notch tool away. So thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted UI and functionality. Love your work.
Glad you liked it Terence, Gatelab also features two midi outputs with the exact same functionality. Enjoy!
Damm! This is far better than the Pancake vst😮
beautiful and saves a hell of a time also it can be used as a sidechainer without killing the energy...
I started to use it and it is fantastic. Thanks for the nice explanation :D
heyyyyy thanks for the plug audiomodern!
Enjoy!
Awesome, highly recommend all Audiomodern's plugins! 👍🔊🎶
❤️
Thank you for the awesome free plugin!
Enjoy!
When I reopen a project in my DAW after shutting down, any track using the Pan Flow resets to the original setting until I click on the plugin and it goes back to the setting I've programmed. Is there any way of preventing this? I realise it's only a minor issue, but I have to do it every time I reopen a project.
Hi, we are aware of this issue and will correct this with our upcoming update. Stay tuned.
Great freebie guys! thanks! 😊
Wow, Thank you Audiomodern for another fantastic free plugin!
Thanks, enjoy!
Really useful, with a nice and effective UI. And, HEY!, a super great price! Thank you so much! Question: Does the panning still work when the MIDI function is engaged? During this demo, at least to my hearing, the panning seemed to cease when MIDI OUT was engaged. If that's the case, then a possible future upgrade that would be nice to have is an option to retain the panning while MIDI OUT is engaged. Additionally, along with limiting to a volume threshold, limiting to a frequency range would be creatively useful as well.
Brilliant, thanks
Thank you. Very generous.
I love this, the shape generation in Panflow is great, a very inspiring tool. I really want to use this as a CC source for some sound design ideas but there are a few bugs that I've noticed.. the CC output keeps incrementing up the output CC number when editing parameters within the plugin, especially when changing the time/rate settings. The ability to limit the max range settings is a good idea but a little bit clunky when editing and again causes the output CC number to change in my DAW for some reason. I've also had several crashes running in ableton on OS X. Other than that, this is an awesome plugin, so good for a free one.. looking forward to the update!
Super helpful plugin. Works great but in some case causing a error in Fl Studio up to a crash. Should I use the .dll or the vst version of it? I think the "cycle through" option causing the crash..
Well done! I wish you will make more like this 1 for more type of fx ! Amazing random function!! Thanks
Thanks for your feedback! We got some more apps here 👉 audiomodern.com/products/
Fantastic plugin!! Thank you!! :)
Can you add a not-so-simple panorama option to it?
The idea is that there is no 100% signal in the left channel, and 0% in the right channel. Only as it is in real life, i.e. in the second channel there is a lower signal and after the high-pass filter. Natural paning. Please!! :)
Hi, thanks for your feedback. While we weren’t after that concept for this app, you can of course use the range slider on the right side of the UI and adjust as needed ✌️
Thank you!!
Enjoy!
Does Panflow come with any presets?
I've tried loading/finding them but have yet to discover anything resembling these amenities.
Excellent Thanks !
Wonderful! 👍
Does it not come with any presets? None of them show up after I installed it
Love all the free apps. My only issue with Panflow is that trying to adjust or create a sawtooth pattern is impossible because you even get the lower part of the curve near the upper part in the grid, it eliminates the upper portion. This should not happen. Only by forcing the second point PAST vertical alignment should it eliminate the conflicting point on the curve.
at the haert of this is free volume shapers and all kinds of shapers. neat
Having trouble getting this to work properly in Logic (v10.6) on Catalina. Software looks like it's working from the visuals, but I'm not getting any actual panning. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? This looks like it should be brilliant if I get it working!

This is a great plugin. However, I've just realized that it's not saving BPM changes in logic. Is there anything we can do to address this? A lot of careful adjustments have been lost. Obviously, it's free, and I'm not complaining, but it's kind of frustrating to realize that multiple pieces with the BPM sync turned off and manually adjusted for favorable relationships with the sounds being effected haven't saved and aren't saving.
Hi, is the Sync option turned off in Panflow? Are you using tempo automation on your project? Please reach out to us here as we’d like to learn more about this 👉 audiomodern.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
@@audiomodern Hey, thanks for the rapid response! It's actually happening in Maschine as well. I have the "sync" turned off in Panflow and have manually set BPMs so that there is some variability in where things land on the stereo spectrum, but Panflow seems to be automatically reverting back to sync. My other changes (in terms of dry/wet, feather, etc. appear to be maintained. I'll copy and paste my responses and reach out via the Zen Desk as well. Thanks again!
Move over Panman, looks like I found a new panner plugin!
Glad you liked it! Enjoy
how do you get midi out Panflow to work in logic .
I enabled it but no plugin on the same chain is responding to it via midi cc
Logic Pro unfortunately doesn’t support the same midi routing options as most DAWs. If you need to route midi from one track to another you need to use Logic’s Environment.
@@audiomodern thanks for responding so quickly. I knew something was up when I looked at MIDI-fx section and saw just Riffer.
@@issiewizzie We might be able to provide a midi FX module for Logic Pro users, same as we did for Playbeat. Stay tuned.
@@audiomodern thanks. As a playbeat owner l didn’t know you had a midi fx module version 😀
@@issiewizzie Yes, you should be able to find it in the Midi FX slot, just make sure you are using the latest version.
No mono under …hz?
Hi, there is no mono setting due to the concept of this app, but if you have any feature requests feel free to post them here: forum.audiomodern.com/ ✌
