THAT is one helluva story! Jay so deserves all the success he has enjoyed over the decades. He is also one helluva husband caring for his wife the way he does. Good people like him deserve all the goodness life has to offer!
At about the time that Johnny Carson ended his reign over late night tv, my life/habits changed for the better. I stopped staying up so late and mostly missed all of that stuff. I DO remember getting upset so many times when I would hear: "Welcome to the Tonight Show...Filling in for Johnny tonight is... (someone)". That drove me BATTY! I did see enough of Jay and Letterman to like both of them about the same though. Never caught on to Conan. Oh well. Thanks, Brad. This is another great addition to an already great story.
The scorn that the homeless receive only serves to keep them down. Given a helping hand and some compassion, most homeless people can achieve at least a modicum of success. To those who read this comment, think about this story the next time you encounter a homeless person. You just might discover the next Jay Leno.
But how can you know unless you stop and sincerely ask them. Remember, the police officers automatically thought the worst of Jay Leno until they listened to him. You never know how you can affect someone until you try.@@minealsomine9663
Thanks for your opinion. I think you need to think a little deeper about this. You'd think not one person on the street has been offered a hand or a leg up or compassion for the way you explain it. For all the funding, sponsoring,, and kindness the homeless have been afforded, by your theory, homelessness would have been done away with years ago. The majority of the homeless want to be homeless. We're enabling them and exacerbating the crisis. If handouts, soup kitchens, and giveaways were going to fix it, it should have worked by now. Pull your head out. Find a different, useful cause that doesn't perpetuate your fellow citizen's frustration for the cost of you feeling like you did a good deed.
It will be the closest I will ever get to seeing his collection. I would like to visit Los Angeles at least once in my lifetime but I have no plans to visit yet.
Hello Brad. I’d like to give you a tad of inspiration. We all appreciate your phase 2 storyboard on what is. However you need just a little gravel and gruff in your voice in order to sell. Ever notice an actor who covers their English dialect within a move role? Or perhaps a Texan who can sound just like a Brit? A role, a character enhancement maybe just pipe the mic through the software to select the output voice which captivates audiences. Imagine Morgan Freeman trying to tell us anything as a soprano (never take) pause often as if the verbiage of Christopher Walken does between syllables, let the words hang mid air for effects. Leave holes and gaps only occasionally while the product you sell is good, just act out the delivery
I know Jay Leno made a huge donation to a college here in Central Kansas on more than one occasion directed towards the automotive department. In fact a 1 Billion Dollar anonymous donation was made to this college and do not doubt it was probably from him. But who knows why here, a 20,000 people population was chosen for his generous donations. 😊🤔🙄🙏
Amazing! great info. Thanks Brad.
Thank you, Steven. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
Didn't see this one coning!! Great story, Brad! Thanks for sharing and God bless!

So glad you make these extra videos. You have a special purpose with the follow ups and historical journalism. Great job.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I hope Mr. Harvey would approve. :)

There is a difference between being down and out, and wilfully being a vagrant
I agree. We should treat everyone with compassion. :)
When you're down and nothing to lose but your mind

I occasionally watch Jay Leno's Garage on UA-cam. But it's not on my most watched list.
I really enjoy Jay Leno's Garage. :)
@@BradDison It's not bad. And it may be as close as I ever get to seeing any of the makes/models of cars in his collection with my own eyes.
I love it. :)

I appreciate the comment. I have acted in several films but I’m no actor. I’m a historian. I do the best with what I have. :)

I didn't know about the donation. If I did I had forgotten it. That's very good of him. :)
Checkout the "path to pebble" it's about McPhersons amazing automotive program. Just released a month ago. Narrated by Leno
@@Bone89 OK TY very much 😊
Letterman and woody woodpecker were never very funny.
Hahahaha. :)
