i kinda wish they made the dream sword an actual weapon you can get in the game like how they gave donald and goofy the dream shield and wands. plus i really love the design of the sword
It was always cool to me how some of the KH3 worlds fit into the actual timelines of their franchises and could actually be canon. Toy Story, Big Hero 6, and Monsters Inc. in particular
Idk why people's biggest take away I'd the dream eaters, dude...your player character from union x reincarnation was the antagonist of the series for over a decade and the biggest take away people got was about the dream eaters?
Normal weapons can hurt the heartless and do get rid of them for the current moment, but the hearts don't get freed so they just pop up again later. So for heartless bosses, they'd just appear again like 5 minutes later or something.

I mean, other characters destroy heartless all the time, and there is also the aforementioned magic. Things like the manga don't really help the matters where Sora actually does avoid permanently destroying the heartless, and the HBRC can at least take care of them long enough to not be a considerable problem.
A neat idea I think would be modding Disney Castle into this and making the Unknown the boss in the throne room. Having that be what you gain access to for getting all the Destiny Islands raft equipment and completing that world could be cool. It’s gotta be possible to put it on the map.
I had a seed yesterday where I had 3 emblem pieces in Hollow Bastion I saw those in my reports and was like okay get some levels in while looking for the 4th one and I found it was about level 40 then finished all of HB and couldn't finish because my Navi Gummi was locked behind hundred acre woods and I was like well I'm at 2 and a half hours and I can't even do Neverland so it was a big oof moment
The raft requires such a large amount of items I feel like it would be cool to have every hint mention at least 1 of them. Since the hints seem to mention 2 things to find you could still get a hint for something nice but give a little bit of a push for the raft items. Since you can't actively hunt for emblems any easier than raft items it seems like it's just a gamble to which you can find first but having fewer to collect means emblems are just easier. Hallow Bastion is a dense world with a lot of goodies to find so making it more likely to be skipped seems like a fun risk/reward system.
Just saw this so sorry if stupid question but what about the big ben chests in Neverland? Like are they always active or do they act like they do normally
It's because BB started, but never finished Neverland. When you go to Neverland, Riku takes away Sora's shadow and he doesn't get it back until after the fight in the Captain's Cabin, even when visiting other worlds. Mostly you don't notice it because you're always flying around in Neverland and most people don't go back and revisit other worlds in the middle.
I just realized something you know how in real version of the game Donald gets and upgrades his magic when you do? it appears that in this randomizer when you get magic, he gets what was supposed to be there, while you get what it was randomized to. for example, when you got that one chest in Hook's ship behind the yellow trinity, you got the randomized Gravity, while he got the vanilla Aero.

I actually disagree with the idea of a "default scan", like obviously an option would be fine but the idea that it should just be permanently on removes the actual joy of finding it or the difficulty you have without it. RPGs have always either not shown you how much health an enemy has or they've had you build up to getting an ability that allows you to know what health an enemy has. RPGs would not be the same without a little bit of guess work early on, it's what used to make fights early on so tense. Also can someone explain to me how a DDD Rando would work exactly? As far as I know the game doesn't have key items that block progression so would you be collecting things or just going through randomized encounter after randomized encounter?
Lol, at 2:47:31 Goofy fires off Evolution, dies, and then his own Mega-Potion effect lands on him to revive him, god I love Goofy's support skills
One time I died as goofy through a potion and so the death animation started but quickly reversed and show that potion take effect. Pretty cool

I always wondered, in KH2 when Sora learns defeating heartless with the keyblade helps the villains, why didn't he just get a sword or something?
