Love that a squeaky floor leads to a spontaneous dance. That cabinet is a living work of Jake. Now I want a biiiiiiig papillilaminum too. Thanks for sharing some of the more specific details about them. Great way to show how to free plants in glass vessels with openings that are smaller than the rest of the vessel.
The only time I'd mess with the roots when repotting is when it's extremely rootbound (I'll loosen it just a little) and if I was going from one medium to another. Or possibly if there's rot or anything like that. 😅
Loved this video. It made me go and check on my pap. It’s maybe 1/2 the size of yours and it’s 4 months old. I hope it grows into a monster like yours. I’ve discussed the matter with it 😊 Love the high energy, fun way you disseminate valuable information.
it's sprayed daily and the enclosed space keeps the humidity very high. also a terrarium cabinet will be much more humid than a display cabinet because of all the wet moss, soil at the bottom, and abundance of overgrown plants ☺️
😂 Anthurium Papilamaminamanum. Your thoughts about repotting and "breaking up your roots"... if your plant is doing great as is, why disturb that?!?! I have never understood that.
You know what, I’ve felt like shiz for a week, and your video is making me smile & feel a bit better! You have such a lovely fun personality! X
Thank you! I'm so glad my videos have brightened your day🥹❤️

I would argue you dont even need to loosen healthy roots. they will expand on their own in the bigger pot😊

you got this! it's gonna grow into a BEAST. i declare it!
Where did you get the flat clear top for the tank you just showed? I have Saran Wrap on mine. 😂😂
i used to have that too haha! it's from a picture frame that is the same dimensions as the tank!😉
You are talented. I had to take my plants out of no drainage, they did not like it.
How much time did you give it?
No humidifier in your cabinet? I could fit a LOT more in mine if I get rid of the humidifier. However I DO live in a SUPER dry climate

Tbh unless your plant is getting planted into the landscape you probably don’t need to disturb the roots. 😅❤
its leaves were getting smaller in size so it definitely needed a pot upsize to mature 😉
@@plantgayforlife no I mean how you were saying not to break up the roots, I was agreeing. 😅
@@LostInThisGardenofLife oh gotcha!😚😄
Adventitious roots
YES! There’s the term I was looking for!
Attack on Titan them plants....
i haven't watched that show😅

exactly! only repot if it needs an upsize or an emergency intervention.
