This is magic and deserves many more views. All the new overly engineered design are unnecessary and overdone as well as over price. As an engineer I love the simplicity and effectiveness of this design they are essentially shortening string path, eliminating friction points at the bridge which is emulating locking saddles without an actual locking mechanism. I assume a top loaded bridge plate would be even simpler but it doesn’t exist for a tremolo.
how do you get your tremolo bar to stay in place when you use it? just got this tremolo and the arm is a bit loose even when i tighten the adjustment cap..thanks!
He discovered something monumental on the strat vibrato tuning stability and you ask a question about tone? That’s like going to a real estate seminar and asking about biscuits.
I absolutely can't say enough about the Gotoh 510 Trem-system on my 2014 Suhr. The Tuning-stability and Return-to-Pitch is Phenomenal. I am Amazed, everytime - that I use it. I will Never be without = Ended my Search for a floating-tremolo system . . . "That Actually Works" oNe LovE from NYC
Just bought one for a guitar I am putting together! I am super excited because I like floating trems better thant he whole Floyd thing but it is frustrating that traditional strat trems get you out of tune so quick
Actually this one is a custom made Steel FST block. But apart from the material, the dimensions / specs are exactly the same. The Zinc FST block stays in tune far far better that Gotoh's own non-FST steel block.
@@TheTrlabrla Definitely do that. The FST design is fundamentally better. I don’t know why the manufacturer doesn’t offer it with the steel block, obviously there must be manufacturing issues
Well... if they would do that, nobody would buy the non - fst one anymore... I think... Anyhow, thank You very much! I'll let You know how it went/goes.

That's a really nice guitar.

What is the nut width on that guitar and what was the original string spacing?
Beautiful clean tone. May I know what are you using for the tone?

This video is specifically about the FST and by design no other Gotoh product will be as stable as this. I think they discontinued it.
Hello! A question for You - is that an original Gotoh zinc FST block or a custom made steel FST? Thanks.

@@menonjay I know... i have a non - fst gotoh. I also have the means to turn it into an FST dimensionised block. Do You reccomend me to? Thanks!

@@menonjay Hi Jay! If I may ask, how did you get the steel FST block custom made? I am also looking to do something like that but with brass. Thanks!
