Its unbelievable that class players such as Juan Mata, Michu, and Santi Carzola started here. Though it would be unlikely for them to come back, it would be a great feeling for the fans to have these players finish where they started.

It reminds me of the Southampton story but more extreme. A club struggling in a low tier and a person with a lot of money comes in. Hope they get to La Liga soon.
Real Oviedo is on the up, but just think of all the teams that have failed recently (Beerschot, Le Mans, Alania Vladikakvaz, Arsenal Kiev) or that are in dire shape (Blackpool, Parama, Racing Santandar, Elche). I enjoy watching top clubs and the Champions league, but there is so much more to football than Chelsea and Real Madrid. If only something could be done to make the sport more equal and compelling.
