      Isn’t it funny how far mirror viability has come over the past 15-20 years? One of those things you take for granted until you get in an older truck.

    you had asked in a video if this was a late 99' or early 99'.. this truck is a late 99' , the difference in them is the air intake on a early 99' pulls off the wheel well and the late pulls of the front by the drivers side headlight.. lol I have an early and a buddy has a late. I changed my air filter systemic 03'

      I had 12 inch wide rims on my old Bronco , ... Trust me when I say ... Don't do it ! , hydroplaning in slushy snow at traffic speeds will damn near make you dirty your short's !
      Keep it around 10 inches wide , and you'll always have clean short's .....

      @@ts6141 I realized a few seconds into this video I would prefer these over the rectangular mirrors, but I'll smoke the lenses or find mirrors with them already smoked. The rectangular mirrors don't do it for me, too much contrast with the 99+ body style.

    • @ProjectTimeGarage
      @ProjectTimeGarage  Рік тому +1

      The mounting hardware is nothing special. They're basically just steel U-Nuts. I'd go with maybe 3/8 U-Nuts and 3/8 bolts, maybe 2 or 2.5 inches long.

      @Popeye85 Рік тому

      Should I be worried or just wait to see what happens? I don't see any issues with the transmission it seems to perform great and shifts good and hard it will snatch you in the seat going to second and you feel it pretty good going to third as well

    • @ProjectTimeGarage
      @ProjectTimeGarage  Рік тому +1

      @@Popeye85 It's just a safety issue, really. The parking pawl won't affect shifting at all. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it, just afraid it would roll away and cause some issues that way. As long as you remember the parking brake, I'm sure it'll be fine.
