- In this video I finish the final preparations and then take my nearly complete fully restored Land Rover Series 1 107 on its longest test drive yet. I had to drive all the way to the weighbridge and back, some 60km in total. The last time it drove any distance was over 50 years ago. In the excitement, I forgot to pack my tool box .....

Having recently finished my D130 and driving a basically new vehicle, I can definitely concur that rebuilding a vehicle is waaay worth the money and effort. I can't wait to start the next one. This video is one of those key points in ones life where focus becomes clear.

You were the inspiration for me to find an old Landy, and this video series is surely an inspiration to put in the effort to make them as good as possible. Your truck is an incredible example of patience and perseverance! Mine will never be as perfect as yours however, yours is a benchmark to strive for.
