    Jesse. From a fellow Aussie, get some chucks wipes, then go down Bunnings and get some Ready mix plaster for walls. Dip your chucks wipes into the plaster till it’s got a good coating all over it. Lay it all over your mountains and anywhere you want terrain. Looks Brilliant.

    I really enjoyed watching the great variety of trains on your layout - excellent modelling. So nice to see some of the less common LNER loco classes (A2, B2, D2).

    Looks fantastic Jesse. Love the individual project trains you’ve put together, in particular the engineer’s train. Nowt quite like the mish mash of pre grouping and grouping rolling stock of 1930s LNER mixed with the modern air conditioned Coronation stock. Great stuff.

    First time viewer. Very nice run bys on these replicas of the 1930's vintage trains. One of your engines on your train set reminds me of Spencer from Thomas & His Friends. Like the Brick 🧱 work on the tunnel entrance , Very good narration enjoyed watching of course. ✅

    My early years were spent living next to an embankment that carried a part of the Midland line from Gloucester to Bristol. I was fascinated by the long slow freight trains and the sheer variety of wagons they hauled. Your models capture that atmosphere, in LNER form, so well. It's a great layout you are building.

    Great work Jesse. I use this commuter line every day and my great grandfather was driver based out of KX in the 1930s (including being the driver on 2509 Silver Links record breaking run in 1935). So this is a wonderful project to see being developed.

    Nice engineer's train! The milk and empty stock consists are really interesting, and the Peterborough - Hatfield train is just lovely.

      The milk and engineers train are probably my favourite trains due to the stock. Both are entirely kit built, if not kits, some wagons are scratchbuilt

    Hi, you have clearly put a lot of work and research into the train formations shown in this video, really nice job. Your trackwork although I'm guessing not finished yet really does look wonderful................If you do a video of future updates it will be great to see the growth of the layout. Very nice work and miles away from Woolmer Green too. All the very best Dave.

    Fantastic. I grew up trainspotting at Hitchin where my dad was a fireman/ driver on the ECML based at Hitchin. I thought I knew the line well but I learnt a lot from your short film. Well done.

    Cool! I've just been recording my first few videos on my channel "dawlish in oo webcam". My railway is also set in the 1930s, albeit my son has modern day stuffvas well. Creating a sensible timetable takes time! I like you narration of what each train does.

    • @jessesim9906

      Hello, I’ll have a look, love a good 30’s layout. It took many hours/days/weeks of scrounging through the working time table, But also a lot of guess work. Some trains are two or three trains amalgamated into one.

    looking forward to seeing this as it develops. Its so good to see that you've used finescale track, so many otherwise excellent layouts are let down by the use of the totally unrealistic Peco streamline.

    • @jessesim9906
      @jessesim9906  8 місяців тому +1

      I agree, I used code 100 on some of my first layouts, jumped at the chance when Peco’s bullhead was announced. It’s made even more natural by altering the points and making the track centres accurate to the real thing.

    Is it O Gauge? I love LNER steamies, although I'm not too keen on some of them. The LNER steamies I love are Sir Nigel Gresley, Flying Scotsman, Blue Peter, Tornado and some of the smaller ones besides. I'm a lady who loves steam engines.
