The Swimming Pool

I came up with this analogy to describe mental health and what my journey with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) was like. It doesn't speak to the physical affects so much but hopefully shines a light on what it's like to struggle with mental health.

I feel like this doesn't explain it the best way in my opinion. I feel instead its a bucket of water that someone dumps on me and im uncomfortable and wet while everyone else is comfortable and dry.
